I have noticed that when I do a particular attack, there isn't a randomness to the damage dealt..infact, it's always the same number. What is the point of damage ranges if the number will ALWAYS be the same?
I have noticed that everyone who dual wielded lightsabers died or got their buttocks handed to them in the movies, books, cartoons, trading cards, and comics...why do people want this then?? Even Greivous, who wielded 4, got smoked by a knight with a cdef carbine.

i noticed that along time ago, its less code so its cheaper

Yes, is there something wrong with how their damage calculations are working (or not working), or what? Pre-cu I never hit for the same amount all the time..

I believe the intent was to ensure randomness didn't interfere with balancing during testing.
however, now damage range comes into play based on your accuracy vs your opponents defense.
