Thread: Rewards, rewards...throw in ur ideas.

Well we see the NGE coming as an inevitable change. So, meh, what the hell..let it come. Now as for the jedi vet rewards, id like to throw in some ideas.
The special crystal - a jedi should b able to select the color of this crystal over the existing colors (after all, with the promised mods, its the only crystal we will use most of the time, so id b glad to make itmy favorite color)
The elder robe - this robe, imo , should be the old FRS robe given as jedi master ( the one with the cloak) or the guardian one ( with a different skirt, like a stripe of cloth ) and shold be dark if you're imp and light if you're rebel (copy that captain obvious)...i dont care about the mods really...but make it useful please, no +5 ranged defense..or +10 health lol..b reasonable, since we're becoming mostly PvE, give us something to protect ourselves against hard mobs.
the elder title - well pretty simple imperial jedis get dark jedi elder, rebels get jedi elder. If a veteran remains jedi after respec and change factions his title changes too. I personally wouldnt like to wear a simple "elder" under my name lol..
Blue glowie - love this idea, make it simple eyecandy...afecting NOTHING in game play...also an obvious toggle command required...on/off
....
outside that id like to suggest another cool thingy:
a new saber hilt - u get to pick between 2-3 new hilt styles
*shrug* just an idea 
what u guys would like?

I think we should be able to pick out of any of the frs robes we get, since were going to be cookie cutter with all the entertaines in theed and rifleman and mining outpost us former jedi should each have our own unique robe and color crystal. Also, a certain skill that made us a bit more powerful than non-precurb2 jedi. Nothing insanly unfair like cloak or avoid incap, but something like, force meditate possibly? Or forcerun1? or forcespeed 1? Something to where, a pre-cu2 jedi should beat a post-cu2 jedi....

ill surely b using that, always been a powers fan but never grinded it b/c it was sooo inferior to MLS...i mean...its alredy hard to fight BHs with a 400dps saber, imagine spamming choke and force lightning..not my style...now that wont b a problem

just doesn't seem like we have any real combat advantage over the new jedi, which in all fairness we should.

Before you misjudge me here..
Hats off to all Jedi for doing what ever the system asked of you to acclompish it.
I would like to see a title/robe that distinguishes the older Jedi who holo grinded pre-9 bla bla to the Village grinded/respec'ed Jedi, thats all not more power oradvantages just something that defines the history of Jedi in SWG.

(Suggestions?) for Post 9
I dont know why but i would like that.
Or even something to do with FRS ranked Jedi...just throwing in ideas as OP asked.

wouldnt worry about force meditate as there probably won't be a force bar anymore.

Still trying to brainstorm some ideas but if your concerned with distiguishing the various groups of jedi, then how about :
Ancient - Venerable - Elder
Not sure thats what your aiming for but it denotes some time progression i guess. As for functional rewards, it sounds like they are willing to give the vet's a "slight" advantage over the newer Jedi. Even that sounds like its a not a "forever" thing. Personally, i think the rewards should stand out significantly and never become outclassed.Also,If they give out these *special* robes, then they shouldprovide a good variety so that we can avoid the mass clone thing again ...like the jedi pj's.

For one I'd like it if you have access to all Jedi titles your character has earned over its history. The old 4444 pre 9 guardians would get Jedi Knight, Jedi Guardian, and the 4 titles for the branches in the top tree, plus more from the branches in the lower trees. Pre CU Jedi would get whatever titles they achieved in the FRS.
