Anyhow that aside. I have been looking at this for a few days now. I knew about a CU 2 about 4 months ago I believe. It was done because the CU was an absolute FAILURE. The CU was garbage. It made combat mind numbingly slow paced, and all you did was mash 2 attacks in duels, but the ole time you had to watch your f keys to be sure it went off, hence missing the entire fight.

Now, we click on our targets, we fight fast paced and focus on the visual effects and combat, while enjoying the emersion of the game.

I never cared about being an "alpha" class, I liked being a "jedi"

I am one of the better PvPers on my server, and renouned at PvE. I enjoy the game, but the CU was oo slow, and too easy to grind, with no challanges. I have spent more time in space on my jedi as of late than on the ground, as I am fed up with the ground combat.

jedi will fight "equal", but look at WoW for example. Druids, Priests, Paladins, Warlocks, mages etc. All are technically "equal" however with skill tree picks they can be stronger and diverse. IE a shadow priest on WoW is awesome, as is a Demonoligist Warlock. they get a form of "specialty", if SOE uses the "specialties" as a bonus to us, this game may be saved finally.

Yes I did the 29 professions, and stuff ... And I still support this.

the underlined is how i feel aswell, alpha means nothing, who cares if everyone is a jedi, let them have fun and some may not like it... who cares, i think (as u do) that the new fast paced fighting will be fun... i just feel sorry for those FS'ers so close to unlocking... guys, my heart goes out to ya, u guys deserve soemthing aswell for all that work

I also believe this change will have a positive impact on SWG. After awhile the CU just got to boring for me. the CU was just a skeleton combat system anyways. If the developers have put alot of effort and time into this the CU2 may be extremely interesting to play.

My only beef will be the lack of content to apply the new changes to. SWG still has no content besides kashyyyk and mustufar. there is absolutely nothing to do otherwise. I'm serioulsy hoping they puke gobs and gobs of content into SWG with the next 6 months. otherwise this game is going down the toilet and to hell in a hand basket. however as a veteren jedi i am looking forward to running around as a blue glowie for a time

I liked specials, they made things not so annoyingly boring
