hello all, I've been playing awhile (612days) and this is my first post so please bear that in mind before you start hurling abuse at me for giving an idea which I feel will make all the players hating this 'new' CU which is on routeand were waiting for the frs to return to attain a higher force progression rank happier (not quite pleased but happier) and could phesably be achieved by the developers.

I'm assuming we've all watched the films if not the older ones then I'm guessing you've seen the new ones and get the jist of the storyline in episode i-iii.

One of the main themes throughout is the fact that the big boys once had a mentor and were padawans before they achieved their grandure through help and training, now this is my idea.

With the so called 'noob to be' players arising they will be considered outcasts, unworthy by some, I don't think this should be so, we should use them for our own gain, we do a quest to attain the right to be a mentor, with this we can teach any new skill a padawan would need, we can help them and guide them like you do now and, heck it can even help them out in jedi vs bh duels (this doesn't need to be in but it would save the soon to be whining they will cause).

Now, this is the best part, by aiding these noobs we attain higher ranks ie you help one noob to a mastery and you achieve knight status granting you a slight edge,

help two you reach guardian (which is the rank which sounds best to intervene in a bh vs jedi fight I reckon) and help the third progress you become a master.

To add to this the apprentice when he/she is ready can deciede they are better than their mentor and try to defeat him, if they suceed they become a 'sith' titled player which they can display or not, possibly a badge would surfice but who knows, if they fail they just getto stay at their end level (i.e. full temp jedi padawan, which they cannot pass), if they chose not to do so within six days of completition of training then they break their tie to the mentor and no one looses face.

the rules:

a jedi veteran must do an extremely long yet not boring quest to be able to become a mentor

a jedi veteran may only choose one 'noob' at a time, he must see him all the way through his training and fight him at the end to complete training (if he looses he attains the next rank regardless)(or wait six days of no challenge and progress regardless)

a jedi veteran after completing one noob's training must take a month to 'morne' over his student diserting him

after a jedi veteran has taught and trained three jedi (assuming starting training as a padawan) he/she attains jedi master, which upon reaching you are awarded a jedi master cloak in a colour of your choosing aswell as some preCU benefits (sounds fair)

this will make the noobs feel part of the game and the vets more superior displaying the hard work they achieved, I know this isn't quiet as good as some ideas but to me this idea seems to be easily achieved and also quiet a feeling of achievement would be felt after helping these new boys out.

look forwards to all the negitive coments and put downs because some of you can't be arsed to think of an idea and are only happy putting someone else down, and on a plus those of you who aren't pleased with this make another suggestion, I'm putting this out so give me your feedback guys

haha thanks man, I don't want to think that this update is as bad as it sounds, that'll make medepressed, I hope someone else can bump my thoughts because then people may feel more positive towards the game again even if it's sliding, and give a plan of new ideas to come.

thanks for being my first reply made my day lol
