I am really tired of giving SOE my money.

This may sound weird, but I support the idea of radical improvements to SWG.

What I am seeing with this new system is another dumbing down of the game to something that can work on a console.

Is this even going to be a MMORPG anymore? Or just a MMOFPS?

If you really think about it, SOE is asking us all to buy another game they are building from the corpse of the SWG.

If its REALLY good, I will play it.

If its just a dumbed down rehash, I will stay with WoW.

Forget everything else about that game, I actually LIKE being a Blizzard customer. They treat me with more respect.

well i read on a forum today SOE was looking into bidding for a contract for Xbox live hosting or something. It was all very hard to understand as it was not english but seemed to suggest them looking into them atleast looking to bring it out on tri platforms

Yeah, it may be an awesome console game for all I know.

Its just not the SWG that I bought, so I am going to have to evalute it the same way I would any other new offering.

I will admit, I am VERY reluctant to be a SOE customer again.

All things being equal, I will go with company X over SOE. I've just been disappointed by them too many times.

The one thing I will credit SOE with is having the will and means to build games of this size. I understand its a huge financial investment. That being said, I am really glad to see their mini-monopoly disappear. They abused it badly.
