Thread: I have found that pearls bring better tunes than crystals. Even if same quality.

Looted 50 good quality crystals best was a 83 -3, looted 30 good quality pearls best was a 108 -8.

I was looking at the averge tune number for both types and I coud tell just by eye balling that the pearls where higher on average but ill need to log back in so i can do the math on the actual tune averages.

THat was even stated by devs. Pearls have a better chance but they can both get there.

but also most post cu jedi have crystals in there saber because quality crystals still drop.

Even with quality I have tuned several, ateast 20 quality crystals and the best I got was a 78 -6. I bet if I tuned 20 good pearls I would beat that.

crystals only have a max of 110 dam -7 fc can't remember the speed,


pearls have a max of 120 dam -9 force cost. you get a higher range O'etam

Right. The only caps on the 2 to seperate them is Crystal caps at 110 damage and pearls cap at 120 damage.
