What will you BH do when there is no Jedi because no one wants to put the time and effort into becoming one? No one to hunt, no one to gank squad, no one to sell your over priced loot too, lol. It Sounds real good. And one of my 16 prof's was BH and did those fun npc missions, cant tell me thats fun content. the only thing fun about those is selling the loot and there will be no one to buy it. And we arent "overpowered", if you watch any of the movies I believe the best BH were Jango and BoBa Fett and both got destroyed my Jedi without much effort. But we are underpowered and gimped.
To answer your question, what will a BH down when there is no Jedi? Here goes the list:
- Run NPC BH Missions
- Hunt Smugglers (when that's put in)
- Do activities with my guildies/friends (funnest part of the game if you ask me
- Run Quests
- Do space misssions
- Run a player Event (PVP Tourney, Race Circuit)
- Launch a Guild War
- PVP (GASP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
- Revive the GCW (which this game should center around)
- Try to Get a Jetpack
- Try to get Mandalorian Armor
- Help a new player level up
- Harvest Resources to make money
Is that list long enough for you? The misconception Jedi suffer from is they think we hunt them because we have nothing better to do, that's totally wrong we hunt Jedi because it's fun. To be honest when I catch a Jedi and beat them or the beat me and they don't say anything after the fight, that gets on my nerves I am used to them whining or their friends calling me an &$%@hole, because I broke up their picket party. If most of the people weren't to busy grinding Jedi, or trying to be one and did some other game content then maybe this wouldn't be such a hard pill to swallow.
This nerf really depends on what template you have anyway, most of the Jedi I know are laughing because this change doesn't really hurt them in the long run.
This is not different when MBH was the most powerful profession at launch, and all the people were whining because they were getting eyeshotted to death through their mind bar which they migrated to like 300. So guess what MBH got nerfed within 1 month after launch and there was only like 5 per server after the first month. MBH had no knockdown for almost a year, so all this that Jedi are going through welcome to the world that is SWG. If you don't like the changes then don't pay your money simple as that, SOE does not have to tailor the game to how you like it, there are thousands of other players out there to think about not just Jedi.
You can do all of that now. YOU choose not to.So the rest of the game is not fun? Or when the Jedi leave the most fun part leaves with them ?
I see the point you are trying to make, but it's a little off. I don't hunt Jedi full time, a lot of JEdi think that we BH's log in and just hunt Jedi all day that's not really true. I do all of those other activities as well, but they take time finding the parts needed for Jetpacks and Mando are time consuming ventures unless you get lucky. I may log in and feel like PVPing, so if I can't find some Special Forces players running around I turn to hunting Jedi. Another day I may log in and work on my FS XP, another day I may log in and just harvest resources and power. I was just making the point that Hunting Jedi isn't the only content BH's do in the game, it's actually only a small fraction of it.
If you look at a few posts here on the Jedi forum I saw a Jedi say that fighting BH's only took up about 10% of his total in game time, that's almost nothing.

Wow a galaxy with no Jedi, man it will be just like the old days maybe some people would actually PVP again. Good Idea buddy.
The bugs need to be fixed. But Jedi are not the only profession being effected by bugs. Crafting professions have been suffering from numerous bugs since the CU.
As for running from BHs, if every Jedi starts running from BHs, you'll only speed up the nerfs more. You knew that forced PvP was a part of being Jedi when you chose to become a Jedi so deal with it.
You are correct in the old days there were no Jedi. but 80% of the player base(my experience anyways) was trying to figure out how to get one.We allknew you couldget one but nobody knew how, SOE told us the same. Then once they told us how to get one 80% of the population were grinding professions to get Jedi which was thereason they bought thisgame.
-And once jedi are gone who will you pvp? bh v. bh? sounds good. NOT

For the record I'm not a BH either. But the BH vs Jedi wars need to be taken out of the GCW and the game needs to stop being balanced around them.

I guess you missed the memo about BHs *eventually* being able to hunt Smugglers as well.

I been playing since 2nd day of launch. In that time I have taken time off (usually 3 months at a time) 3 times. I've grinded 16 prof's and did 2 branches of the village system to get my Jedi. I have recently come back from one of my extended leave of action to finish my jedi grind (currently mls,3402e, 2040d,2000h how novel), only to find BH/CM extremly over powered and Jedi even more gimped then when i left. What happened to the CU "balance"? Since being back I've had 2 BH encounters (both loses), I never was a PVP'er but before I left I won apporx. 10 straight BH fights w/ mls, 0040d, 0002e, 2000h. The 2 new encounters both lasted probably 40 min w/ running out of force in one as the cause of death and in the other 2 other members of his guild showed up all w/ my mission of course.
-I read these boards everday since my latest return only to hear the same basic solutions it would take to even things up.
1) fix speed mods.
2) fix regen
3) drop quality/premium pearls
4) increase action/mind cost on non-jedi healer (i.e bh/cm) so they cannot heal ever second with no costs. Add a timer, hummm 6 sec like jedi have to heals
5) do not nerf another single jedi skill
6) Bring back frs
********action plan*******
-until you r current subscription runs out do the following
1) Run from every BH encounter. I dont care if you are full temp. or novice lightsaber. Do not become BH content until Jedi is fix/can defend itself(ALL JEDI). I dont care if you have 800max damage saber and can destroy the BH. RUN for all those who do Not. This will cause our "enemys" to become our supporters. They will want Jedi to get fixed so they have someone to hunt/fight and loot/sell items too.
2) cancel your accounts once you subscription is up for at least 2-3 months then check the boards to see if we JEDI have been fixed. If no do not renew.
***or better yet we as a JEDI community as a show of strength collectively cancel our accounts on the same day. And again weekly check back to see if Jedi have been fix.
This is our best option because
1) Money talks! And whether SOE likes it or not we pay the bills. People play this game and watch the movies forone big reason JEDI! Like it or not thats a fact. I will probably get comments like I love being a merchant or ranger or whatnot but lets be real for one second. For everone ofyou that loves being a Combat medic and healing the group there are 10 people playing Jedi, they bought the game to become Jedi and now that they have it it is slowly being taken away. One patch at a time.
-we know by now that by sitting back and hoping everything will be ok it will not be. They (SOE) have no incentive to fix the game because we sheep keep paying a monthly fee. Since im pre-paid by game card through the very begining of November I will continue to finish my temp and then not renew unless we come up with a definite date for us all to do the same. Without Jedi the game will collapse. People with Jedi represent a HUGE portion of all players and their alts are merchant/chefs/ws/as/ etc.... and without them no food/armor/weapons ect... nothing left in the game.
Lol, that's the mostretarded thing I have heard in a while. You are actually whining because you lost againstBH with you unfinished template? ![]()
I'm doing really well against BHs and I actually enjoy fighting with them. BHs are only players who are trying to enjoy one part of this game. Maybe you should try that too?

If they want Jedi to be = regular dual elite, that's fine. Just remove all the penalties and extra XP requirements then. Heck make it a starting profession for all I care. Just don't expect any Jedi with less than a near perfect saber and any understanding of how it's working in the next expansion to hang around.
If every Jedi quit, and I won't myself, but if everyone did then according to all of the whiners and Jedi haters that means more than half of most server populations would disappear. This would include many of the best armor and weaponsmiths in the game, and many of the bigger guilds. At that point you'd see server consolidation and have to get many other classes "balanced" (read: nerfed) especially BH and any healing classes because all that hate directed at Jedi now, would fall squarely on them.
Incidentally, devs don't seem to like fixing, only nerfing. Ask CH how long it took to get anything resembling an actual fix...

LOL. You all go ahead and cancel. It'll make the game a better place without all the whiney Jedi running around complaining because they are actually being balanced now instead of being overpowered.
