No best temp a temp is preference an how you use it you could do just as good using mdef ls 0404 then mls def 4040 choose how you want to play...

going with either mls, menh, 4004 heal or mls, 4404 enh, 4000 heal, 0040 def myself

No such thing as the best template... not anymore... Everything is up to your style and preference.

Valiae you could go for 4040 healer an get sap and shock man sap is nice for fighting stackers or those pesky bh cm's to slow there regen.

Best for PvE: MDef / MLS / Enh 0002 / Heal 3000

For PvP (in mass numbers) - MLS/ME/H4004 or MLS/ME/H4040
For PvP (1v1) - MLS/ME/H4004 or MP/ME/H4040
For PvE - MD/MLS/E2000/H3000
For Fun - MLS/ME/H4004 or a Powers version (I haven't played a powers temp, but those people I know who have go powers love it)

The thing I like most about defender is that it gives me a few seconds to react and get my act together when I'm attacked (mostly pvp). I don't think I'll ever drop mls although its only worth it for the extra specials Ill get and the saber throw which is my all out favorite special. I use some enhancer for the force run and the channel. And the healer to help me stay alive.
All of this fits my style of play. So that's the way I go.
If I had enough sp to master def also to get the avoid incap and more defense, that would be perfect!

i love my temp, mls 4404 enh 4100 heal 0040def. its wonderful pve and cm/bh its okay. with a good saber it would be much better but i need to pull out all the stops still ie.buff crystals all foods ect... goood luck
