Thread: Hard decision choice: 50 inate armor and Fr2 vs 54 inate armor and FR1

im just 1 box away from finishing my template, aye! after 3 months
i am currently MLS healer 4000 defender 4340 and enahcne 3002
im planing to get defender x4xx as last box or enachne 4xxx , cannot decide yet
My reasons im thinking of pickings Force run 2 is the following:
-Great for runing away on fights, going quick on sp to shutle, etc.
-Better root
-And if 1 day they fix the ability of using lower version of powers, il be screwed
4 inate armor and +25 ranged defense dont hurt, but will it make a noticable diference??
please help

54 inate armor and FR1, because you can use FR1 without 90% reduction, but thats just me

I was about to disagree, but you do have a point. Only problem is you will not be runnign from a fight. FR2 would at least let you run.
Even FR1 is constantly on which gives you an advantage over those non jedi that cant contiually run.
I have FR3 and wish i could select which one i want to use

With the template you havegetthe additional box in enhancer as u get the faster force run and you also get improved force suppression which lasts twice as longas the standard force suppression. The extra box in defender wont give you too much of adefensive advantage and think you would likethat last box in enhancer better.

in a fight you'd be toggling FR2 on and off, especially to run away. That costs a lot of force if you're doing it to keep up with ranged players, and BHs still have terrain negotiation I believe.
However, you do get the better of the 2 roots, which might counter balance that need to run after opponents a bit. And you can run away with FR2 if you need.
I have 3004 in Enhancer. But I have cloak, so all I need is 20m of clear space and I can get away if I need. It's different for ppl without cloak.

I had to make a similar choice recently.
Im changing my temp (at long last) out of MLS/4004 healer/mEnh, and I decided upon MLS/4402 Enh/4000 Healer/3040 Defender. The change is almost solely for PvE with my best friends, but I know I'm gonna be PvPing a lot also. On the battlefield, my saber tends to act as much as a "fire here" sign as it does a weapon by the time I take down a few Imps, so the ability to supress em and run around the side of a building (or into one if need be) is invaluable to me. I also enjoy toyin with BH's...gonna miss Stasis T_T.
Anyhow, my brother and some friends are going almost the exact same temp having unlocked more recently, but they're taking 3402 enhancer and 4040 defender, and tried to talk me into doing the same thing. Nuh-uh =/ Aside from the fact I just grinded 10 mil just to hit 0 exp, all the time I've spent toying with people and running around like a chicken without a head with my old template would be for naught if I gave it up now. }=P

Get Def4440 and 1600k jedi exp for the day you'll change template
