Thread: Innate armour please advise

Does anyone know what the cap for Innate armour is please??
Is it 70 or 100??
And does this equal 7000 or 10000 resist armour??

I believe the innate armor # is the % of 60% damage reduction....Though it is on hte diminishing returns formula so its not 20 innate armor=12% dmg reduction. There is a post around here somewhere and it tells you what each 10 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 90 100 innate armor gives you in dmg reduction....I forget where I saw that...In any case once you get past a certain point its kinda pointless to keep gaining, just like the 8k energy resist armor you see floating around, past 6k it doesnt help a whole lot, its a waste of effort.
Oh oh, you can get 100 by using force armor, it adds 20 at regular and 40 at improved i think....

Innate 70 = 7000 armor rating for example.
Armor = %
1000 = 10.5%
2000 = 20.0%
3000 = 28.5%
4000 = 36.0%
5000 = 42.5%
6000 = 48.0%
7000 = 52.5%
8000 = 56.0%
9000 = 58.5%
10000 = 60%

Take the innate armor mod times 100 and you have the rating you would see on crafted armor. Cap on crafted armor is 10000, so the cap on innate armor is 100.
You only go over the cap if you have MDef and Enh x4xx.
Jedi Padawan: 2000 AR
Novice Def: 3000 AR
Enh x2xx: 4000 AR
Def 4xxx: 4200 AR
Def 44xx: 5400 AR
Enh x4xx: 6000 AR
MDef: 7000 AR
Def 00xx / Enh x4xx: 7000 AR
Def 40xx / Enh x4xx: 8200 AR
MDef / Enh x2xx: 9000 AR
Def 44xx / Enh x4xx: 9400 AR
MDef / Enh x4xx: 11000 AR (over the cap, so effective 10000 AR)
