Earlier this week a group of travelers on Dantooine came across a rather hostile Janta camp. Thankfully, these voyagers know the dangers of Dantooine and came prepared, with blaster rifles and grenades, which quickly dispatched the saveges. Upon entering the empty camp they came across a rather disturbing site- a mans head on a stick. His body was found on a rotissery about 25m away, already seasoned and ready to be cooked.
The travelers took the head and body to the Coronet Medical Center where several people were able to positivly identify him as simply "The Old Man" from the force sensitive village of Aurillia. Upon analysis of the remains, they discovered the man was already dead before his decapitation. Marks on the body show signs of being ran over by a picket stampede, not uncommon on the plains of dantooine. The Old Man has been reported of chasing down travelers all over the galaxy, trying to pawn off mysterious glowing crystals. Imperial detectives tell us that this cyrstal has been known to brainwash citizens, and making them go balistic against native wildlife for a timespan of about 18 weeks.
This news comes as a shock to the Sith Union, whom are known to collect these crystals. One sith pirate tells us "It's sad, just sad. We will now have to lay off a lot of our workers, who have no other training to get new jobs anywhere." The sith pirate band CEO, known around the galaxy as "Mel", was not avialable for comment at the time of this writing. The effect that the death of this 'Old Man' will have on the economy is unknown, We will just have to wait, and watch.

This just in, it is rumored that there is a new "Old Man" about in the universe. This "Ephemeral Spirit" was unavailable for comment, but we hear from our sources that he is the ghost of the "Old Man". We have no confirmation from the "Old Man"'s estate, or from the Spirit itself.
