Thread: Do Jedi Use the Mind Pool Much?

Or isit primarily Action and Force? Reason I'm asking is I wonderif its worth keeping my mind buff crystal or sell it to a crafter or another prof that uses mind more.
And no its not broken or bugged, I just read it on another forum. Any input?

yes, when i fight other jedi, in my best fights, it ends up being a battle of the mind, as in who runs out first loses

I am Healer 2xxx I use tones of mind due to the 1000 heal and the need to heal more. Can not speak for anyone who is higher in the healer tree, but if you have only healer 2xxx then i would keep the crystal, the way CM/BH are these days anything is a plus.

saber attacks take mind,action, and force.....a lot of it....heals take a good chunk of mind too...its really annoying

Yes..it's still mind wars. Seems that's one thing they managed to keep consistent with PRE-CU...

I Just wish they would make Jedi heal not use mind like it used to be.. but i am sure thats never going to happen. But then again I also want Dervish to come with AKD, like advanced throw used to be, but thats not going to happen either. Guess theres no harm in being the optimist

All Saber Specials take 2% of mind, save Dervish which is 4% (95 SAC)
Couple that with Advanced ForceHeal takes 9% and Improved Force Infusion takes 12%.
Most other Jedi abilities take mind as well, but not sure how much.
Mind is a limiting factor. Especially if you can attack very fast.

What they need to do is incease the mind pool for those Jedi who have higher lvls of healer. A Master healer shouldhave more mind to use to heal compared to someone with just 2000. If that ever happens there would be a lot more Master Healers just because of that.

In my opinion all they have to do and should do is remove mind cost from attacks, no other profession draws mind for attacks...

Other professions use mind for attacks simply not at the rate that lightsabers do. When they adjusted the costs on sabers they only adjusted the action costs not the mind costs. They really should have adjusted both.
