every combat profession can't and don't need to craft their own weapon. only the jedi need to be master lightsaber once in their live to make themself a perfect weapon, why i ask.
in the movie luke got his first saber(one of the many sabers anakin had lost over the years) from obi-wan. later even han solo used luke's sabern, even if he didn't fought with it but he used it.
don't get me wrong i have a saber i made when i was master lightsaber, but maybe i want try a saber with another balance of the stats. if i want to i have to drop skills and grind for others again, a normal profession just need to ask a weaponsmith.
as requirements the sabers allready have jedi initiate, or is it a problem with the spagetticode, which would allow slicing of the saber when traded?

if it can be traded it can be sliced (armor and wpn wise) so no trading sabers.

Not anymore, its a container. Otherwise an incomplete temp jedi with smuggler would be able to slice their own saber.

I just wish you can trade tuned pearl and crystals. And i would also like to put the sabers in my house. Oh well

FS skills : experimentation, assembly, survey, any other ones

-> only seek ressources to craft uber sabers with full possible experimentation

The question is, would you really want to be able to buy your sabers? Meaning that the explaination for the overpriced items would only be "i spent some time to be the best, you pay the price"...

I don't think you want to buy sabers....


BTW : luke is anakin's son : they are quite biolinked

Have you ever tried to make it to Crafting Mastery? (I"m currently 4424, so hell yes, I know what I'm talking about)? It's the toughest way ever to get Jedi as a Non-Combat toon (MArtisan/MDE/MMerchant). So

*IF* i get this for me working with excellent succesrols on crafting an experimentation

*IF* i don't get kill trying to get the uber resources to make sabers

*IF* i even drop Master DE for the sake of Master LS so I can create the best LS ever

Then YES! The price is can be very high.

After all, you're paying how many millions per pearl even??? With a chance they tune not that well?

That's exactly what i'm talking about
All the guys that spent some time in FS craft tree, ressources, etc.... will set the base prices.... And as you say : they will be dramatically high.

BTW, i don't buy pearls...
If i need one, i make a pearl hunt ^^

So what about Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon then ?

Obi also have a relationship with Anakin as well before they met up Count Dooku for the first time ?

Suppose that explains why Dooku and Anakin were "Bio-Linked" as well...

i.e. THE GAME IS NOTHING LIKE THE MOVIES OTHER THEN THE BASIC THEMES

otherwise melee professions would not exist save for close...extremely close combat where using a blaster simply is not better then a vibroknife.

As a side note, if Vader was more machine then man was he still bio enoguh to be able to use Luke's newly crafted saber in RotJ ?
