Ok everyone so how do these numbers hold up. Everyone has been saying that Action/Mind Costs have gone up. Here are the current Action and Mind cost percentages from about 2-3 weeks ago. Do these numbers differ from now?

/Discuss please......

All tests were done with a 97 SAC Lightsaber.

FC1 is a 23 Force Cost Lightsaber

FC2 is a 32 Force Cost Lightsaber

Action %- Mind %- FC1 - FC2

Have not changed.

The match my tests after pub 19, save a few minimal differences which can be attributed to different views. Like I had 11 SAC for a couple of the ones you had 12 for.

Is it possible that the regen is slower? I do not have an old test for that so would be hard to compare.

Those numbers I guess now differs from player races post publish.

And BAC, it is better to keep this thread EVERY publish to compare.

Good Numbers. However most of the Jedi Community has 100-108 SAC Lightsabers. Padawans are grinding up to the Experimentation Points in Master Lightsaber to craft a 97 SAC Lightsaber. So your results are skewd towards the extreme right hand side of the natural distribution curb.

I recommend toding the same test with a 104 SAC Lightsaber. For results closer to the mean average.

Action/Mind Costs:

First off, it's hard to say if they differ, the 97 SAC saber is pretty hard to get...but the numbers seem about right. The trade off on damage to get that low on SAC is the ridiculous part. Even so, if they fix the speed on sabers and SEA's then these action costs are going to be a huge hindrance regardless of the SAC on a saber.

Probably not the kind of discussion you were looking for, sorry, but might as well make the wheelsqueak as often as possible...

Good Point, my previous test was with a 95 SAC as well.

Should do tests with:

95 SAC (full sac experimentation)

116 SAC (sac after damage experimentation 9/3)

126 SAC (no sac experimentation)

how about doing tests with a saber with zero points in efficiency

I have a real difference in the speed that the force and action drain. I noticed it immediatly after post 22. I can hit a group of stormies with 3 level 82 elite nova troopers in it pre patch 22 with no trouble at all, after patch 22 i hit a group of all level 25's and had to run 3 times before i got killed. Force went down the lowest it ever has, and was watching action drop more in one hit more than about 10 hits post patch 22. Whether the numbers show it or not, the faster drains are there.

also, you guys that do the test need to use a post cu saber to bring you back into reality of how bad our post cu sabers really are. I think that some of these problems are post cu saber related and are not affected by pre cu sabers.

There's a bigger problem here, Bac, and the Devs need to know about it. The 97 sac saber you show there is a result of using all your experimentation in efficiency. Well, with pearly and crystal drops being what they are, most players (like me) use all the experimentation in damage because we need all we can get. This leaves me with a 130 sac saber. Normal, non-saber weapons can get sac's down into the 60s while still outdamaging a saber. We need have have the sac costs cut in half andhave pearls and crystals reduce sac like they do force costs. We also need to have the sac costs removed from saber hit as it states in the skill description.

Actually the pearls / crystals need to have a SAC reduction on them, like they seem to be supposed to have. That will fix a lot of theissue.

For the love of all that is holy, PLEASE get rid of the mind cost on saber attacks. Normal toons don't have this hinderance (when shooting a pistol, for example), why should jedi?

I think you will get little luck comparing old vs new as the bug seems to be random. By this I mean that right after the last publish, I was fighting a group of grey conned mobs for a quest and suddenly got the "too tired" message after just a few minutes. This was rather suprising as I have not had this happen to me since they reduced the SAC costs on specials months ago. I removed the pearls from my saber then put them back and things were back to normal.
