We all know its going on, and it makes a total mockery of any form of Combat Balance - fights being not by skill but by who is the better exploiter.

This is something that REALLY needs urgent attention but it being overlooked.

I just wondered if anyone else feels the way i do about it.

Reinstate the combat que this would eliminate it completely.

Here's an odd though, if the combat speed was working correctly maybe ppl wouldn't exploit the speed. There should be a bug fix every other day. Not whenever.

3 words to what's going on:

No it isn't right, but it is happening and it can easily be caught if you're looking for it. Tho I don't see it helping since SOE has placed a stance on not accepting a person's word or screenshot at proof, whereas they claim they need to see it first hand.

Do you think if everyone posted every in game exploit they knew of that SOE would fix them faster? I bet if they entire player base knew how to use the speed bugs and other exploits that they would get a fire under their arse to fix it!

How does it work? Can you interrupt the timing of its machanics while an oponent is using it?

and what do we watch out for in PVP.

Better yet, EVERY one do it, then there WILL be balance once again. j/k.

From my armchair network technician's point of view, I think it perfectly like that SOE can monitor the traffic between SOE's servers and their SWG clients. If they don't have the ability open a "traffic monitor" (so-to-speak) on a connection by player, they should develop one.

Now, assuming the above were in place, I would hope that SOE would periodically monitor a given player's network traffic if they receive enough reports. And if they see something out of the ordinary, make a more detailed analysis.

But I also keep hoping I'll win the lottery.
