For this macro to work, you will need your LS in one of your toolbar slots. Here is the macro:

Vis-Killer:

/ui action toolbarSlot07;

/dump;

Simple as that. What does it do? Well, I usualy have force aura on macro while I'm grinding, for obvious reasons. The bad thing abou dant, however, is there are alot of drivebys, which means vis. So whenever a dot comes too close I just hit this macro and it unequips my LS and dumps my aura I have running, so I dont get any vis from people passing by. Just edit the toolbar slot number in the macro for whatever number your LS is in and it'll work.

GREAT IDEA !!!!!

and when that "passer - by" is a BH and you have just dumped all you macros and stored your saber, that will be an interesting 3 hit fight .... the first 2 hits will be the BH hitting you, the third hit will be you hitting the ground .....

THAT IS ABOUT THE MOST STUPID IDEA I HAVE EVER HEARD!!!!!

The point of this macro is to keep it from ever being a BH. I'm not done w/ my temp, but I'm LS0404/Def0040/Heal3000/Enh0002 and havent been hunted yet, and its BECAUSE I do things like use the macro in the OP. Dont know if you actualy grasped the concept, but this is for people who dont want vis. If you have BHs after you vis doesnt matter to you, so theres no point in trying to stay away from it. But if you have been watching your vis and you know you couldnt b on the terms, this is a way to help keep you off.

LOL this is the kind of macro, along with macros to switch out of jedi robes and put away saber also panic macros to take food that we used to use all the time pre cu to avoid visibility.

any jedi enhancements you have on will still be on your not turning them off your just turning of the macro to repeat them when they run out, if it turns out that vis factory running through your lair is not a bh you will not be getting vis from them. If it is a bh then if you can equip your saber b4 he kills you then i would say you need to practice a bit you will get eaten alive by experienced pvpers who switch weps in the middle of pvp all the time.

the one caveat to how this works, is to unequip your saber actually give a tiny bit of vis as well as equipping it, you might think about leaving it equiped and just don't attack anything, its ok if your saber is lit defensively just dont attack make sure your not using an auto attack in a spin group or that you can turn it off quickly if need be

This is a good suggestion, it is what I somewhat do but I think my way is more effective. Cause as much as I hate flamers he is somewhat right.

I have an Icon in my tool bar that does the following

/dump

/forcearmor (to kill it if I have it on because if I am getting hit I use force)

I dont unequip mysabe but simply click on the terrain and hit the esc button which normally turns my saber off.

It has worked for me for 3 weeks I still havent gotten any BH visits from any minor vis I obtained. Great suggestions.

and xorbor ease the hell up.

If your gonna ban me, next time at least let me do something worth banning!

Thing is, I would hit this macro before they were in vis range, meaning even if un-equiping your LS gives you vis, it would b done before they were in range.

Unless they have changed it equiping and unequiping is one of the worse thing you can do. May be better of just spamming escape and not attacking.

dont listen to the people that are saying its a stupid thing to do. That is the kind of crap that discurages people from posting stuff that can help the community at large. If you find somthing that works then go with it, and share it with us....screw everyone else. Some people around here get too big for their britches and wont consider any idea unless they thought of it first...after all "im a pre cu jedi" and all that crap.

Point is....if you find somthing that works for you then good on ya, share it and maybe you will help someone else. I personally did the same thing in the early stages of my grind...only without a macro, and i didnt get any vis. I didnt get vis until i wanted it..(i did some pvp with the guild cause i got tired of grinding all the time). So i know your idea can work, just be careful about dumping your macros if you do get some vis and a BH may be after you.

Ignore all the other people with nothing intelligent to say

I'm sure there was sound logic behind this the only thing is that Unequipping and Equipping an LS within the 32m range of NPCs or PCs gives vis. This was stated a while ago and seems to have been forgotten. Your best option would be to not use your force powers as the blip is going, by but unequiping your LS is a bad idea. just because this causes Visibility just the same. Somehow, though I have no proof, I think it causes more.

i played like i was on the terminals, every day. since stuff like bikes and corpses are reportedly giving us vis, it just seemed like a good idea. and i used something like this all the time. nothing wrong with trying to play the way SOE intended. the only thing i might suggest, is have a second one that takes a stim and a ruby bliel prepared. first attack is usually a KD, then you can heal, stand, heal without using any mind/force/action(or whatever else that will cost in the near future) and reequip and be good to go.
