Playing around with a calculator (kswgprofcalculator - please tell me if my calculations are off and this build won't work), seeing what I could do to improve my BioEngineer.

Scout 4040, Medic 0004, MBE, 6 FS lines

leaves just enough SP to take a single, complete Force Discipline

And more importantly to my DNA sampling, it comes out to CL80

Obviously, this build will be smoked by a BH, so am I still going to be effective against creatures if I use a regular sword or gun, so I don't gain visibility?

Any suggestions as to which force discipline to take, especially ifI don't want to gain visibility while maintaining some effectiveness? I'm guessing either defender, so I don't have to worry about anything hitting me, or lightsabers, to improve my melee attack (for use with a sword/polearm/etc.).

Unfrtunately, I can't mix and match among the disciplines without losing CL80.

I'm already using MBE/ranger 4040/novice doctoras my template, so I'm not getting any offensive combat abilities from those professions, and I still consider it workable (but not ideal, since I have CL43).

go with master defender, it will help u tank creatures while u sample DNA, or u could go enhancer and use supression take the sample then FR3 away

you can not a gun or any non-jedi weapon on you to use jedi powers or skills so try this one out cloak is fun and you will not need a weapon in hand when cloak so it still works no armor also though. consider what you want :

* ranger will be fun when they updated it and this will just give a better short term ( low force pool = short term ) steath ability could be fun.

This is more what you posted not sure why you want BE with jedi powers but hey to each his own again you could use cloak for some short term fun as long you got no armor or weapons equiped.

*best BH on our server is MBH / M Doc so it works you just got to be smart about it. and you would need to uncloak put on armor ( macro it guess ) then attack but it still would be fun i would never dump all my skill to try it though.
