Thread: Mpowers vs Krayt Dragon?

I was thinking of going Master powers, LS x4x4, enhancer 3x42, healer 4xxx. Could I solo a Krayt Dragon with that temp? Thanks

with no def? prolly not.
btw why enh xx4x? surely you don't want the resist buff line. if it was meant to be enh x4xx with armor that's better and you might be able to solo a juvi

yes you will. fr1+weaken+choke. it will take a while for the big ones but they shouldnt be able to catch you. I can finish an anchient with 25% force left, with an aura macro running.

You have no armor.. the only thing yo can probaly solo is juvy..
at M enh, M powers 4400 healer i was able to solo juvy's and canyons.. everything else ate m force too fast

It's easy to solo Krayts of almost any level (Ancients are tough though) with MPowers.
The trick is to use the environment, pull the Krayt to a lair, stand there and let it AE the lair, thus getting aggro from everything else there. Then just root it, keep choking, weakening, rooting and lightning whilst its rooted (don't do it while its on the move because of the self-root). As long as you outdamage the mobs it has aggro'd you'll get the XP, loot, and a lot less downtime.
It is possible to kite Juves and Giant/Canyon Krayts without any assistance but it takes time, and you'll probably want to use a ranged weapon to mitigate its high regen. Here's another tip: If you wield a ranged weapon, DON'T stop to use a Force power, otherwise you'll get rooted for an eternity (equipping a ranged weapon uses the "proper" Force animations, which look great but root you for a good 20 seconds or more - bad news vs a Krayt). Just keep on the move, have "Ranged Shot" on auto, and keep choking and weakening.
With LS 0404 in your template I'm guessing you will probably want to stick close for the AB/Power Attack, so most of the above will probably not apply to you.

Yes it's possible. I solo canyons all the time. Did a few of the adolescents in the graveyard too. Just keep him rooted, slowed (with weaken or wave) choked and go in every now and again to armor break and hit power attack. You wont have much force left though afterwards.
