OK, seems weird to me that it would work this way.

Guildie is pretty bright, so I wanted to see if anyone could confirm this from experience.

I will try to explain this as best I can.

If you use a Jedi ability infront of an npc you get say 100 visibility.
Lets says it takes 1000 visibility to get on the terms.
Lets also say that a death to BH removes 300 visibility.


You use a Jedi ability 15 times, giving you 1500 visibility. A BH comes and kills you once. You lose 300 visibility, leaving you at 1200. So it would take another BH death to move you below the 1000 mark.

So esentially, a Jedi like myself who grinds Reb FP all day, would need several deaths to BH's to be removed from the terms.

im pretty certail there is a cap to vis and that 2 BH deaths will remove you from the terms if you are

1) innitailly right at the vis cap

2) dont get any more vis in between

if your not like "mr well known jedi" then usually one BH kill will remove you from the terms

OK, so say I am cautious and solo grind (yeah right) for a couple weeks in a quiet corner of Endor. How many hypothetical "points" would I lose for NOT generating vis over an extended period of time? In other words, there are other factors that remove vis other than a BH death correct?

with the numbers i used, i would guess 20 per day.. imo

i think its on a sliding scale - seem to remember it takes 3 weeks for all your vis to totally dissapear - however i cant remember where i heard that from... - however if you are on the terms - grinding on a far flung corner of the galaxy wont make it any tougher for a BH to find you... and when you fight them they are unlikely to group with you first so you avoid getting more vis...
