Thread: an idea for sabers............

i for one am sick of things like banes heart, the sunrider and this ( yet another ) new red colored crystal for the ToOW. How about giving jedi a choice of the color of these crystals. Not all of us are 15 year olds that want to be darth maul. Some of us even try to follow the Jedi Code and use the color crystals that were meant for certain ranks. We should not be forced into being like everyone else , herded like sheep cause SOE has no imagination.


for these quests ( except for banes heart , since it is a loot item ) we should be giving the option at the reward portion of the quest as to which color crystal we would like to choose. We should not be forced into using a certain color to keep pace with everyone else cause SOE is too lazy to add a couple of line of code to gtive it a color option.


i dont want to turn this into a rant about the game, but this is just one of many areas that shows only marketing controls what is put out and the devs are mindless robots to do anything but follow with the rest of the herd.

we are EU when you think about it so why not rip out the red sabers?

infact now that i think about it nearly everything about jedi happened in the EU there is no way you could know all the jedi teachingsfrom just the 6 movies, but i digress... BRING COULOR TO OUR TEAL AND PLUM WORLD

I agree with color option I would love to just have a plain Dark Red crystal for my saber that does the damage of banes... The problem is they are too lazy. Although they could add a quest u do that brings the elemental of a normal crystal up, some sort of tuning shrine or something u can use once or twice.

i didnt say i was FORCED, but if SOE keeps making these new crystals as ways to enhance ones saber, then why should i be forced into no other color options? why is the game only catering to those 10 to 15 year old wanna be darth mauls? why being a rebel jedi would i ever want to use a red saber ? which was forbidden by the Jedi code. I should have the option or they should give quests that people can option different colored crystals for themselves. Its just a matter of having the option and would be cool if marketing stopped calling the shots.


i just think it would be nice to have the option

no i didnt, you dont have a grasp on language do you? you cant justinterpet things to make them how you want. if there are noHQ pearls or crystals going around for people touse, whynot at least give them some other options rather they say, here is your dark jedi sith crystal, run along and play now.if you can read and comprehend, then you should realize this threadis about getting options for those who want them. if you enjoy being a sheep, then continue to enjoy. but not alldo. people who want to be able to improve damage and such would be forced into using colors they dont want.New or post CU jedi are the ones hurt most by this. And i know many that are using sunriders and banes, even though they dont want to, but need the extra help. I do not suffer from this, my saber is pre CU, but i wouldstill like theoption of being able to use a more powerful color crystal myself should ichoose to and have a choice in the color. there should be an option for this not just want marketing wants people to use to cater to what they think will simply sell more accounts cause SWG has dropped off the online gaming map as far as sales go.

jedi master adi gallia had a red saber adn she was on the council....


but yeah i get what your saying i would kill for dawn of dagobah (a kind of greenish yellow) or horns future (white), till tehn it's sunriders all the way i guess
