How is Lightside and Darkside paths of the jedi determined? I'm just about to be force sensitive and i was just wonderin. Thanks.

at the moment you can't really be a jedi knight or a dark jedi knight because the FRS isn't turned on, so everyone who says they are dark jedi are really just imperiel, hopefully in the new FRS there will be quest which determine the side you go to. Just my opinion, but in the old system, it mattered by what faction you were when you were doing the trials.

At this point in time, there is no "Dark Side" or "Light Side."


Even before, there were people who were "Light Side" Jedi who acted like darksiders, and "Dark Side" Jedi who were nice, helpful people. This is because in the previous versions of the "Knight" levels, you were classified as "Light Side" if you were Rebel and "Dark Side" if you were Imperial, regardless of how you roleplayed or otherwise portrayed your character.


Hopefully, the new expansion will have a different way of determining "light/dark" alignment than the simplistic Rebel/Imperial system.
