Thread: What do M Powers Jedi do if they nerf Cloak?

First off my stance on the Nerf:
You should not be able to manipulate items while cloaked.
You should not be able to heal other players while cloaked.
Since they are not going to fix BHs being able to dmg jedi while cloaked, You should be able to heal yourself, and channel while cloaked.
The Snare compleatly negates the usefullness and fun of using cloak.
If the Snare stays then I see no point in staying a Powers Jedi. MLS does much more dmg (even with a poor to avg LS). Force cost is still way to high. We will become candy for MCM to eat up.
So I'm going to respec to a MLS defender/enhancer combo.
Are you going to respec? If so what to and why?

i think the devs are idiots for how they justify the nerf.
nerfs happen, its part of mmorpgs. alot of cloak needed a nerf.
but, to be a sneaky/alpha strike style profession we would need a hard hitting attack that would put someone on the defensive.
cloaks only use was to escape and spy on the enemy.
if it cant do either of those it needs to be removed and give us something else.

I agree 100%, but maybe now we can get attention toward our damage output...well...it's a nice thought is it not LOL.
Truth is that I never really used cloak as a master powers, but a lot of other powers users did. I hope that SOE really knows what they are doing with this upcoming (or so they say) FRS. That I believe will single-handedly make or break this game. Most of the people here are just getting too tired of all the nerfs and lack of good customer service. Personally I am looking forward to the new D&D online game, if the FRS bombs, thats where my money will be going.

Same thing I'm doing now..play my alt - TKM/Fencer/Swordsman; more fun to fight with and able to do quests/content without concern for vis. Unfortunate that they haven't placed more emphasis on the playability of the centric star wars character (jedi). Would respec to MLS/MDEF/Healer 4040, but just can't bring myself to accept it...
