Thread: People think we should nerf Jedi? LOL

I was traveling along minding my own business until i saw an overt. Lvl 75 melee stacker. So i follow him around cloaked for a bit until his buffs start to wear off. Root him choke him (i know my template pretty well) moment root wears off I get hit for 1K damage get KD as i try and book it (managed to hit me from 15m somehow) and then i die.


He was obviously a master fencer using that wookie world blade, nythih o'sirus or something like that.


anyway he was a lot tougher than any jedi I fought.


Im just bringing this up saying that Jedi has been replaced by a template that can be grinded in 2 days.


This story is meant to say that the almighty nerf bat needs to be fixed and jedi be decent. Least make them as strong as those melee stackers.

Jedi now is just a light show unless in numbers. Jedi can be beaten by many new template combos in an experienced PvPer hand.

The problem with jedi is the amount of them. Nearly every hard-core PvPer now has a jedi as an alt or most likely a main. Iwas in the MO on dant today there were about 8 light jedi fighting about 10 or so dark jedi. I saw a new player standing there in his imperial pilot uniform, and he had one badge. He said "Holy crap way too many jedi'. He was so right, jedi is way too popular now and it is not at all encouraging to enter the GCW with hundreds of jedi on each side. Just saying that jedi will continue to get nerf after nerf until they finally remove them from the GCW. Jedi is nothing now, it will be balanced to be stronger then some professions, and weaker then some professions, just like every other profession in game not 1.5x stronger then all.

Wanna know whats funny? My Jedi owns meleers and my meleer owns Jedi. Its a quandary I tell yah.

Actually, it depends on the Jedi really. A Jedi with no Defender is an easy kill.

We have a few melee and a few ranged that are not Bounty Hunters who have Armor Break sliced armor and very high damage weapons who cant be hurt by any jedi and eventualy run you out of force.


One in our overt group two days ago weilding a pike tanked 6 Jedi, was not killed. Those who dont go MBH templates in ranged are very deadly now also, if they have all the great armor and weapons needed.

What's your template? If it's MPowers/MHealer, you had it coming.

Just another thought on the whole "Jedi need to be balanced!"


Ok, I had just got a brand spankin new BARC. I was in Compton and just pulled my Barc out for the first time ever. I'm driving along, minding my own business and them BAM! My BARC is disabled! So, I'm trying to figure what is going on. I run over a hill real quick to break line of sight so I can food up. I throw on FA2, FR1, Aura and infuse and get ready for a fight. Long story short, I ended up killing this guy in about 9 hits. So I /deepbow, and tell him good fight. He then proceeds to rant and rave how my pre-cu saber with my premos is unfair. I spit soda all over my screen when I saw that. I then proceeded to tell him how, I, as a pre-cu rank 1, had been nerfed way more than he will ever know. Anyway, that is my "WE need to nerf Jedi nerf" story of the week.
