Thread: It's Time for Jedi to Use Your Token Respec

Why?


The devs have hinted that we might get another one when FRS comes back. With the outcry over the cloak nerf, that makes that possibility more likely, IMHO. So, if you use your token respec now, you may get another one.


If you wait, you probably only get one.


I plan to use mine tonight or tomorrow.

as much as i would love to get a one time respic when the frs comes out but after so many ppl cryed over the last ones we got i dot think we will. but i do hope im wrong

Yes, we might not get another one. But even if we don't, I think the tea leaves are clear - MLS/Defender for the FRS. I think it's safe to respec to this.

FRS was all about avoiding combat and gank squads, enhancer with cloak ftw most likely

Cloak? Have you been reading the forums the past few days?


Enhancer might still be good, too. I didn't say MDef, I just said Def.

good, so I should be cool with MLS/ Def 444x / Enhancer 3xx2 / Healer 4xxx Good defenses for jedi's and others, pve, and of course the fr and imp spd ! I should be done with that temp by the time frs comes back and IF we get a respec token so be it if it's no good I can go with the ol standby.

I think both SonG and Bacc have reported this in past links, or it was in a Dev chat that was posted here. Sorry, no link, I know that's a capital offense. But I'm comfortable that I read it and interpreted in correctly.


But I understand your feeling - if you are not comfortable without a link, then don't respec. And even so, the info I read said it was only a possibility, not a sure thing.

Either way I probably wouldnt respec, as I like my template currently and 1 token would be enough to cover me on FRS if things get out of hand. Plus I have 4 million banked XP, which can change a few boxes quickly.


I just wanted to see the posts, and read them for myself in case any friends asked me about it, or I could tell them the possibility.

They will not give Jedi another Respec, as much as it seems they will need to with changing our skills constantly. Here is why:


1) Respecs was horrible for the Jedi profession as a whole, did more damage than good with people abusing it


2) With the outcry from everyone to keep the xp rates as they stand now, all devs have to say to people requesting for a Respec is "go grind it, it's easy like you wanted it"


3) Devs would rather Jedi spend time grinding that way they spend less thinking of how bad the profession gets patch after patch
