First off I didn't make this page. I found it and it supported pretty much everything I believe about jedi in this game. many of u may have seen it before, but hopefully its still a refresher.
THIS IS HOW JEDI SHOULD BE, ALL U POST CU JEDI NEED TO STOP WHINING ABOUT EVERY LITTLE HINDRANCE U ENCOUNTER ALONG THE WAY, JEDI SHOULD NOT BE AS EASY AS IT IS TO UNLOCK, GRIND, AND MAINTAIN AS IT IS NOW.

Whoever made that page is a pure genious. It brought back many memories, brought a tear or two to my eyes. Just how everything worked back then was much better than it is today. I wish I had the honor of going through the hologrind and seeing that famous system message, I really do.
Jedi TEF, hologrind, perma death, it was all great. There was reward, there was risk...lots of each.
Granted, I didn't grind pre-pub 9, however, I did grind pre-CU. It took me 14 months to do my Jedi from the time I started the FS grind, to the last skillbox I filled in. All these new Jedi are grinding in merely weeks. I spent at least 6 hours a day nearly every day grinding (take away a day here and there to do real life stuff), and I'm still exhausted from it, even today.

Man it did bring back some memories, good ones too.
Too bad these are long gone.

It was only a matter of time.
It's like you think SOE started this game as a non profit organization.
Profit is the only thing that matters to them.
Jedi sells.
That being said change was inevitable.
If you didn't see this, well then I feel for you, but there's nothing that can be done.
The snowball was pushed down from the top of the mountain by SOE a while back ago. You can't stop it. All you can do is get out of the way of the snowball.
Jedi will get weaker and weaker as the game progresses, if this is something you can't accept then just delete your toon and quit and move on.
There's plenty of other games out there.
