Heya, its good to be back after a 3 day forum ban for expressing my view on a dev and their chosen path for jedi in this game...

Anyways I am workin on a jedi system revamp in my spare time to save this game jedi wise(I am also working in Glmzo's FRS idea). Here is what I am asking at this point.

1> obviously too many jedi, too easy to get, too easy to maintain, not content driven.

In my plans, should I implement a way to "kill off" padawan Jedi and make way for them to become more powerful further on?

2> If you want to see my drafts and grant input, PM your email address and why you want to do so.

Keep this post positive, don't waste a negative post here

EDIT: This revamp will go here and on every other relevant board, it will be submitted to SOE and Lucas Arts. Unlike many other ideas, I am making mine story driven just as SOE presents them to us. And if you guys really want to make a funny. Turn SOE into the Better Business Bearu or however that's spelled.

I am not one to whiz in anyone's Wheaties, but I would advise against spending a lot of time on this. If you do happen to come up with a fantastic system it will only make the current system more frustrating for you. Be it video games, sports teams, movies or any other form of entertainment, this level of involvement is not the consumer's responsibility. It is not so simple as SOE not caring about it's customers. Everyone in the entertainment business is looking to improve the bottom line. This is nothing you should take personally, but if SOE has theories on ways to drive up subscriptions, they are already set to pursue the path they have come up with. If you are simply doing this to share your ideas with fellow players in a "Hey, wouldn't this be neat?" kinda way, then by all means have fun with it. It's just that I have seen lots of players in this game craft these elaborate ideas and then become bitter when they find out that SOE only takes direction from the people running the business.

you, sorry for being so harsh and blunt but they will not listen to you, nor do they have any reason to.

SOE would NEVER implement a way to "kill off" a padawan. The path to jedi will only get easier in the long run as SOE will realise that the only reliable way to get new players involved is the promise of being a jedi
