It was only a matter of time.
It's like you think SOE started this game out of the goodness of their heart.
Profit is the only thing that matters to SOE.
Jedi sells.
Making jedi easier to get = a better chance for newer accounts.
This game is 2 years old and they need some way to bring in new players.
That being said change was inevitable from the day the game first went on the shelves just like in other MMORPG's.
If you didn't see this, well then I feel for you, but there's nothing that can be done.
The snowball was pushed down from the top of the mountain by SOE a while back ago. You can't stop it. All you can do is get out of the way of the snowball.
Jedi will keep chaning as the game progresses, if this is something you can't accept then just delete your toon and quit and move on.
There is no need to stress out over a video game.
There's plenty of other games out there.
