I hear yes, I hear no... I hear ranting and raving, but not an answer to this specific question.

A BH death will remove you from the terminals, until you do something(s) that put you back on them.

I can. I was max vis for a long time then some shmuck killed me when I was down to 5% health sparring with my master in the middle of nowhere. (Hail the new bunker houses with it's sparring room
)
Anyway, I was removed from the terms. I had at least 3 BH per day, now I relax and RP ![]()

3 positives is enough for me.
Yeah, I had gotten lazy and got my ass handed to me outside of the cloner in the Trade Outpost after a death.
At least now I can relax again, and choose whether or not to worry again.
Thanks!

does it reset your Visibility to total 0% again, or just lowers your vis a bit to put you below terminal?

It will remove you from the terms, but does not reduce your visibility to zero. You want to start your vis count all over, you need to keep your jedi logged off for a month. If you make one kill of an opposing faction npc after getting killed by a BH it is enough to get you back on the terms. Other npcs take a bit longer, but will still get you there

Yes a DB from a BHer resets your Visibility to 0
its actually a little more complicated
any visability gained during your bh encounter will not be reset if you die only vis gained before bh attacks you will be reset
so a half an hour battle will keep you on the terms even if you die
this was stated when vis rules were changed i cant link it cos search dont work for me :/ and i have seen no dev post stating diffrently or any notes to say they changed it either

this is just another reason to offer yourself on platter to the bh or run no incentive to stand and fight
because wining we gain nothing just get to keep what we already earned from grinding
putting up a valiant fight then dying we lose xp and not even cleared from terms
commiting suicide or running just delays the bh nut you know your gonna either have to log or face hiim at some point
where is our reward???
it all risk to me and no reward we cannot even consider ourselves elite or alhpa
when a non jedi is
a better healer "one branch in doc"
a better tank "pikeman with ab sliced armour"
a better dps "any profession other than jedi :/"
with armour and items that can make any non jedi stand toe to toe with a jedi
where does that leave us
content for bh
all sacrifices bitsa templates with some fancy runaway skills ie fr3 and cloak but even they are getting hit with the nerf bat so bad why waste the sp
