So the rumors are flying faster than the Millenium Falcon these days of a Five Discipline system coming (possibly) with the Mustafar Expansion. Rumors of files for five new Jedi Robes in recent patches have been flooding the forums. So what do you think these Disciplines will encompass?
The way I see it, the Five Disciplines that Yoda taught Luke required him to concentrate on all aspects of Jedi. The quests will probably be tiered quests, requiring you to speak with certain people and run small errands. The difficulty of the quests would get harder, and the exit tier for each quest will require the Jedi to master the appropriate Jedi Tree to complete the series and receive their reward: a new Jedi Robe. I would imagine the robes would have modifiers for their respective tree (which probably won't work until they hotfix it
).
I can't really think of what kind of quests would be appropriate for each tree. Then again I don't get paid to think it up. The devs did a pretty sweet job with the Clone Relic quests, so if they do something like this I'm sure it would be pretty enjoyable.
I think what most Jedi who have been playing this game for a while want is a system to keep them busy for an extended period of time, like the holocrons did. SOE was able to keep subscriptions for months because of the holocron system and the time it took to complete it. They need a new system to keep people playing and working towards WORTHWHILE rewards. At this point finishing a Jedi template is the end-game for most users. A Discipline System, along with an FRS would keep subscriptions going for quite a while.

I think the Robes will have a certification for Master (XXXX) and can only be equipped when you have the box.
