Now, I understand that any retard that plays this game can make a "jedi" thread, but I am gonna post my idea anyways. I just came up with this, so.....its not fully thought out or anything.

Becoming a jedi shouldnt be based on the amount of time spent grindng. In the current system, you could grind a tiny bit every day or week and eventually reach jedi. So, any jerk who decides to become a jedi, in theory, would reach it. It involves no skill or work (ok, if hunting bols and pikets north is work, then, no skill).

In my mind, jedi should be attained by acting the way a jedi would, by roleplaying or atleast playing the game with strategy. It only seems fair that although jedi should take alot of time and effort, it should require vast amounts of thinking. If this was quests, then guide would be created, which would take out all the work involved.

This means neither quests nor insane amounts of grinding will work. A system needs to be developed that takes serious thought, and time, for the player to reach the ultimate state.

I was thinking, and I realized-why should reaching jedi be so much different than just playing the game normally? For most gamers, becoming jedi means devoting much of their time to solely grinding for the village. They exclude themselves from the rest of the content of the game. Under a new system, every action works towards becoming a jedi. This might sound strange, but under the right circumstances, it might make for more interactive, interesting, journey.

Lets say after becoming "glowy" you are awarded with a new force sensitive skill. This skill could be a number of things....a weak force heal, lightning, crafting, etc. Just small benefits that might turn the tide in a battle or conflict. Depending on how you use these benefits, you get positive or negative jedi points. If you use force heal to save an ally, you get "light side" points. If you used it to save youself selfishly, you get dark side points. Same for all the skills-depending on how you use things your affiliation would change.

Mainly, these skills would come in handy on force sensitive "epic" quests. These quests would enhance the feeling of being on a journey. There would be multiple paths, and depending on the paths you chose, there would be tons of different quests, so many that guides would be impossible to make. Not only that, but depending on how you used your powers, for good or evil, they might raise you to the light side or dark.

When you complete the myriad of quests and have prooved yourself worthy of the light or dark side, you could be taken to an instanced area (dagobah?) where you can become paddie......

As long as a new system favors skill over time, im all for it.

Im tired, and this idea is very new-post your comments puh-lease.
