Iwas in dearic or whatever and I was walking over to the bazaar and I got jumped by a lvl 82 as well in full comp. Ever sence then I havnt see him in there and I check frequantly when I have a chance just to see if there was a spawn there. All other NPC's that are attackable in that city are very low level.

I thought it was really cool and wish/hope there are BH NPC's that attack but I havnt seen one sence.

You would then get "LAFFO U GOT PWND BY AN NPC!!"

Sounds like it's not an NPC BH that's jumping you. My guess is that it's a PC Bounty Hunter's NPC mark.

All marks have faction like many NPCs. If you kill the NPC you will lose/gain points in the faction of him and his enemies. If you already have negative points towards his faction, there's a pretty good chance he'll jump you. My guess is that while you were in the city, a PC BH dropped shuttled in to find his mark. The mark spawned inside the city (as they often do at nashal and Dearic), did a scan on your faction points, and attacked.

It was a yellow dot though didnt know till I walked past him.

its wierd tho u can infuse a mate n get his mark to be a red dot so u can help.... and i get random jumped by this npc straight away too, ma mate saw him as a white dot/arrow too so he cldnt help

either was a real random event or possible what one of u guys sayin bout another persons mark but they dont agro ne1.. thats why i beought up the possibility of bh npc

this kinda happened to a guildie of my last nite. he was out grinding when all of a sudden he was jumped by a lvl 82 NPC bounty hunter. is it possible SOE might of put this in the game without our knowledge? they've done stuff like this in the past. but seriously r there really NPC bounty huntershunting jedi out there? if so that kinda sucks but kinda cool at some time cause if you kill them maybe u would loot.

would be a good idea for them to do that imo

Now the BH community will be saying "we should be able to be CL 82, just like the NPC BH's!!!!"

and have their attacks fully macroed
