in jedi pvp yes you are pretty much screwed with that temp, but against bh, master powers is one of the best esp against bh/cm and with master defender your good to go on defense. Just have holocrons handy and use channel effectivly.

I am that template.. and as stated yeah you have a rough time in bh encounters... but just cm bh's. To be honest if I had a pvp qual saber I would go heal 2000 enhance 3000 forcespeed2 seems essential for good pvp and I will def go that route with the new frs

actually I take that back I misread I'm MLS and if I were master powers I wouldn't think twice about getting meditate...(which should be an inate jedi ability but dont get me started on that)

what jedi learns to wield a saber before they are taught to meditate and become in touch with the force?

what is the first thing jedi traditionally learn? To meditate very good, and yet... its an advanced swg jedi skill.

use a kinetic rifle and force hit with that template.

im findingagainst bhsforce hit > lightning. you will commonly face bhs with over 6k electric resist. but alot of have under 6k kinetic. force hit doesnt root you for a zipper then excessively long animation. force hit doesnt use 25% action. you will save alot of force by not useing a saber and force hit instead of lightning.

i think through out a longer fight (any against a 4xxx doc/cm) you will find force hit will allow you to do alot more damage then lightning and makes force use very manageable.

against other jedi us powers users have no chance (no matter what powers temp)unless the player is lesser skilled. but if you are fighting someone of lesser skill i dont consider that a victory.

hate the nge... but i lurk. one day maybe things will be fun again. until then soe/la dont get none of my moneys.

i wouldn't do defender with powers - defender is all about tanking. powers is not a tanking temp -you get hit the zip stops. mpow/menh is the way to go, imo, with def 0020 and heal 3000
