Yeah, the old 90% block was pretty awesome (although it sounded like you were playing ping-pong). I'd like it back too.
We may see bonuses added in the FRS I suppose...
We can't have high saber block anymore because MDef is already tough enough... Can you imagine MDef/MLS with valor on and 85% ls block?
Maybe they could add some diminishing returns, so that a MLS/MDef isn't untouchable?
Sounds hard to find out a way :/

Saber Block is a very important Jedi ability, and a major part of Jedi training. Although instead of having it as a static defense, it should have been an active "stance" like defense. That means, it should be activated like CoB, and work only temporary while concentrating, and not work when knocked over. But when it works it should be great and even bounce projectiles back.
Valor should be a part of the Lightsaber tree really.
Well if you ask me, it is ridiculous to see jedi (defenders) tanking blaster bolts instead of deflecting/blocking.
But what can we do? With the current Defender profession, high saber block would make em untouchable by ranged guys.. and if a shot would get through block (and miss miss miss), it would hit for ridiculous dmg..
it goesalong the same lines as people "tanking" a jedi while getting pummeled on by a saber. Im a fan of making jedi = to pre patch 9 in progression, that way you wouldnt have half the problems we have now.
