In my oppinion, the more we scream shout and complain about this sorry state of affairs, the more aware the people who can change things will be that we simply aint happy or willing to go without a fight. JUst like the XP nerf, Just like the CU.

You have to understand it from our point of view. We feel like no one is listening or caring about what is being done. That is the most frustrating thing in the world and since no one is going on record about it all, it's even more frustrating.

So I ask again, How can we help YOU help US? Becuase to US, it seems nothing is happening or changing.

I have been thinking the exact same thing. What I think we all want to hear....is What is the Vision for SWG? I think a lot of us would be able to stomach a lot of these changes if we were told where this was all going. Is there some master plan? Or is this just bandaid after bandaid to silence some of the populace? I have been waiting and longing to hear from one Dev who would say....."hey guys, here is where we are going and these are the things we need to do to get there. There may be some bumps and bruises along the way, but in the end these 'said' changes will make a better playing experience for everyone." All we are asking for is some communication. What can WE do to make this happen or work more effectively? We are on your side (even though at times it doesnt feel like it), but everyone is so perplexed at all the changes across the board and how they are going to develop into a more positive playstyle. If you actually talk to us...you may be amazed at the positive feedback you receive.

A noble thought but an exercise in futility I'm afraid. Time and time again the SWG community has asked for better communication with the devs and to no avail. This time will be no different, as much as I would like it to be. The only real option is to make noise. Here, other gaming sites with a large user base, LA, the gaming press, etc... Only then when the devs and those in charge of SWG get put on the spot will anything positive happen for this game.

The dev chats on irc, as they are moderated, dont help. Cos it seem that the devs only answer the question that they have short quick answers to

Well I think if you filtered the posts from people who had something useful to say or a valid suggesting, against the flame and rant posts then the board would probably be empty. All people do is come on here and whine, how can you say you don't like publish 24 when it just went live yesterday unless you played on TC? I saw a Jedi last night beat a BH who rooted and snared him through the entire fight, he still won, so not all of the Jedi's are complaining. Making a posts that say Garva hates Jedi or Garva and SOE can take a hike, won't get you anywhere because lets face the facts most of the players base doesn't post on here, heck some players don't even know these forums exist.

give them some brains would be a good start lol

but seriously everyone and their mother understands that ifa novice rifleman skill can render a master box skill useless that this is not balanced then, just the Devs don´t get that. and if every riflemen can keep their melee oponent chain snared/rooted so the melee class has no chance of even hitting their oponent even once everyone knows that this isn´t balanced either.

with all the server lag we have already it´s hard to play a melee at all already, i was not able hit my target even onceafter doing a kd cause they always slide away because of the server lag and our ranged limited to 5m.

Please keep bumping this till it gets answered. If there's another solution than mass anger, I'm keen to hear it.

They have brains. If you want to retain or regain some of your lost prestige, you may want to ask your neighbor (politely) to drop Jedi. The fewer of you there are, the more balanced the game becomes with you as an alpha class. Until then, welcome to the rank & file!

not to flame, but havent we been posting for 6 solid months straight what needs to be done? Lets face it, we are a bigger punch line than a joke for the devs. Nothing we do is going to change this game at all. Quiting is the only option now, because the big bomb shell hasnt hit yet...pearls...matter of fact i am going to start calling it "Pearl Harbor" cause the effect of that announcement will start a world war on every server.

just send all your complaints to all the gaming magazines, and then storm the hq in austin, and then go camp out a skywalker ranch
