Thread: When jedi stopped saberblocking, i was no longer playing a jedi in star wars

we had great skill boxes pre cu, i was a msaber/mpowers /heal 4004 pre cu. it was a great template to play. the defs were where they should be, in the saber, 85 pct block.
then the ridiculouswas forced upon usand made that template impossible. you would die in the blink of an eye with that template.
without saberblock, jedi are not jedi,

Then explain me, why i can still see +block+ messages when fighting some troopers?
Is it sunblock?

I agree, how can a master of lightsaber combat block only 1/4 (without valour) of shots fired at him or her by a single target

yeah i hate not having much block i think valor should be moved to sabers. i miss having 85 block god that was awesome but it was unbalanced we should get 50 atleast at mls though i think

If you really want saber block pick up def 0004, advanced valor can almost get you back up to where a MLS was pre CU. You have to admit tho that block then was way to powerful. A master riflemen at a ideal range using aim couldnt hit a jedi 1/10 times. Something needs to be done about todays jedi situation but adding more block isnt the sloution.

Only time I see +Block+ is when I have 25 lvl 35 stormies all shooting at me. Im taking 10 points of damage 5 times a second, and still only seeing +Block+ every couple shots. Why? Cause it went from 85% to 25% at master sabers. The rest is all in the magically turned off FRS system.

i would pick up valor if i had the skill points i am a master enhancer master saber so the rest of my skill points goes for healing

That and lightsabers are nerfbats that bounce off armor now. Sabers are supposed to go through everything but other sabers.
