I am sure no one know this answer, but I still wanted to ask anyway. Once one becomes a Jedi, will they have the standard possible powers or are all new ones going to be in the game. I could certainly see powers that would help a Jedi in specific profession. Say, he/she really likes animals. Then the force allows the Jedi to tame and train easier, and to tame and train more powerful animals then the standard CH. The same as a DE, or Medic/doctor. Anyway you get my drift.

Its not for certain, with with help of "hackers", they have "proved" that Jedi can tame animals (not sure how well) and they can heal themselves (still, not sure how well).

cause then you'll be tef'd everytime you try to heal yourself

In the Dev Quotes, (and I'm paraphrasing here), it's stated:

"That slot will have permadeath regardless of what that character is doing."

So, ok, we know we don't have to be JUST a Jedi. As for the rest.... we won't really know until the slot is opened, no matter what Hackers/Coders post here. *shrug*

Like Stealthly said, nobody really knows, and I think what the hackers "proved" was more along the lines of a Force ability to set tamed animals free. Sorry, I don't have the quote, but I remember the call for nerf by a few CH's! :/

Incidentally, does anyone else find it absolutely hilarious that people are calling to nerf Jedi when there aren't even any Force-Sensitive people out there? Not the ones who are joking, but the ones who really mean it, and who feel that they as a bounty-hunter should be able to beat a Jedi because they saw one do it in AOTC, or that a character that can take out 10-20 others shouldn't be possible no matter how hard it is to achieve. Does anyone else feel that the majority of these people are probably either griefers or "l33t d00ds" who are used to getting their way in most games, and are terrified that their "l33tne55" will be challenged by a class that they have no guarantee of getting? Of course none of us are guaranteed to get it, but most of us are willing to wait, and some of us don't even necessarily want the power.We just want to live out childhood fantasies that don't involve porn. Well, not this time, anyway.
