K...considering tampering with my template (got nothing else to do and 4 mill xp banked till FRS is on)

Currently, I am MLS, 4440 Def, 4000 Healer, 3002 Enh (yeah I know...FOTM...but I've had it since may )

I starting to wonder if I've wasted SP in Def....I know I've loved tanking, but MDefs tank better anyway.

and I just can't brind myself to drop MLS or the speed in Enh.

What are your opinions of dropping either 4xxx or x4xx Def (or both) and picking up xx4x healer and/or x4xx Enh?

I'm curious as to your opinion if you have either of these tree lines (xx4x heal or x4xx enh) or your experience if you have lived without the Jedi Innate armor that I have (44xx Def)

I'm currently messing around with 3402 Enh/4040 Defender, and I gotta tell ya...

Force Armor sucks.

Not that it's bad, I mean turning it on is like saying "I don't like Force. Therefore I shall flush it down a toilet."

When I'm doing PVE, I leave it off until more than three things start beating on me. That's how bad it sucks. We're talking channeling out of NECESSITY every 5 minutes.

Great PVP temp, gotta admit... but I love PVE too much to be happy with it.

i agree with this guy. i have this exact temp as well and it ROCKS in PvP but in PvE it sucks especially if ur tanking takes WAY too much force. but if ur this temp ne ways ur full temp and dont really need to grind. this temp is one of the best all round temps. just stock up on the holos if u dont like or know how to channel right. all temps have downsides but my opinion this temp as the least amount of downsides. it just sucks force like MPowers/MEnh does only its way better then it.

I've got your same template, and have been thinking about doing something similar. I'm mainly PVE but slowly doing more and more PVP. Here's what I've been considering and why:

- Switch to Enhancer 2003. My saber is 102 SAC, but with Speed 2 on and specials going out, my actions drops fast. Also, duels with other Jedi have made me truly believe that drain is still very viable and useful.

- Get Healer 4040? Would have to drop an entire column of Defender (to 4040?), and don't know if it's worth it. However, with my post-cu saber at a whopping 571 Max Dmg and 406 DPS, I can't put out enough damage on MBH/MCM's that know what they are doing or have incredible armor to outdue their healing. I've seen mixed messages on the boards about how effective SAP is.

I originally started down the Force Armor road, and hated the incredible force drain it caused from the start (from PVE anyways). I've found that our template is great for PVE, is good against normal profession PVP and not bad against Jedi PVP, but lacking damage on the saber is making me start to reconsider-- I'll be interested in what people have to say about this.

Thx guys, I do like to dabble in pvp but enjoy pve more so maybe this isn't for me. For example, right now one of my favorite things to do is duo the corvette with a buddy, and we fight our way through (till the end), so this would not be a good move if we enjoy the corvette and krayt hunting...etc?

I do have a decent saber...(640 max), and I still failed to outdamage a MBH/MCM...haven't had a rematch yet...don't know if it was me having a bad day or what....I do love my template for the most part....and I agree it is very strong in pve...I've been able to tank 3 SBDs once when we pulled to many...that really stunk, but we won..

With the right foods it's awesome for high end PVE. If you want to solo or duo the highest level mobs in the game, and don't use the enhancer stuff often (suppression, wave, etc), maybe consider MDEF and Doc buffs. You'd lose the 1500 heal, but if your partner is a Doc you'd be in good shape.

with this temp ive never lost to a MBH/MCM yet. (yes ive lost in the past but i never had this temp then and i was barely a week old jedi) heres ur and most ppl problem. most ppl usespam armor break and power attack which actually uses soo much action and force. what u need to do is eat the right foods (just like in real life which most ppl dont like doing lol). ur main goal is not to stay alive cause if ur fighting back u should know how to do this. ur main goal is kill there mind not there health. use ur spd to quickly hurt them not kill them. once there mind is low from healing and applying so much crap on u then spam ur attacks. most likely there armor is sliced for armor break and prolly has ADK on head piece most-likely cause most jedi spam power and head hit. try using body hit and making them bleed. most-likely there strongest pieces of armor is helmet and pants. try using this technic it works for me very time.

That's pretty much exactly what I do. I usually don't even need to heal for a long time because they're constantly healing and not shooting, but can never get their mind low enough for them to miss a heal. I usually try, like you said, to keep them totally defensive and get them to miss a heal before a KD; but probably too often use power attack in the process, and body attack / bleed sounds like a plan. Any way to easily counter the 200+ per tick fire+posion damage with this temp?

infusion is all u really need cause ur right they barely shot. there too busy healing and applying crap on u that ur health only moves from DoT damage and infusion heals that up real nicely. u can ask ne of my guildies who've seen me fight them. my stats almost never move and i almost never heal. too busy hurting them to keep them using mind. mind is there key to death. ours is force. keep holos on u and MBH/MCM shouldnt be too much of a problem with this temp and technic
