i am certain i will get flamed for this, but here goes anyway.
why do i see so much in the lines of complaining here?? i thought the forums were for trying to help make things better not worse. it does truly seem that some people want to have an "i win" button. instead of working and practicing to get better, i guess it means more to "have it now"(though i do not understand this) i started playing this game in august of 2004 roughly, and finally unlocked jedi this last june. and yes i used the double xp bit, but i took the time to try and figure out what i was getting into before i got there. i also completely enjoyed the game play and i still do, because i find it a challenge. i do agree there have been some wierd changes made, but after all this is a game.
from what i am reading in the forums here it appears to me that everyone wants to be "the most powerful " what ever in the game.. period.. why? i see no reason for it. sometimes it is just fractions of a second that can determine who wins and loses.. it happens "there's always someone better" is more than a cliche. i do not wish to be the best, most powerful, etc,etc... i just want to have some respect.. for my toon's name to be known no matter which side of the line i am on.i hope to be one of the people that when there's a problem or someone needs help that my name comes up as someone willng and capable of helping out. i leave the combat (read rebel versus imperial)stuff for the small wars i fight. other than that i will help out anyone who asks, or at least politely ask them if it can wait if i am busy, or at least try and help them in the right direction for help.
i have never once killed a bh but i have practiced a lot with a few who have killed me. and learned what i needed to know to get better. in doingthat, i have earned a small bit of respect from the bh on my server. all in all i never forget that this is a game. and when i am fortunate enough to play i do.
i am sorry for the rant but i will get to the point.. we as jedi need to change this game from the inside. we are our own worst enemies, and we as a profession can change this game.does it really matter what someone may say to just to get a reaction out of you? remeber first and fore most it is a game guys and gals.. and as the elite class we have a responsibility to the other classes as well as ourselves to make things better perhaps when the devs see the jedi working as a society they might(though i doubt it) listen. just my two cents.. and thanks for thetime (puts on flame retardent ca cloak)

/applaud Bravo!
5 stars for you. Man, I am so in agreement with this. I do not believe that things will change, unless the jedi population changes. In attitude, in desire, in how they portray themselves in game. It comes down to do the devs WANT to give the kind of power that jedi could be to immature kids. I am inclined to believe they are not.

I couldn't agree with you more. It's disgusting how many internal posts here (by other Jedi) keep calling for the old 'nerf ourselves to death'logic.
