I mean, I'm glad there's all these guides here, but really I just come here looking for numbers on stats, what's working as intended, what's bugged, and maybe a few good stories about the weird stuff people do while playing video games.
All these intensive guides are nice too - but a little too descriptive imo. You can tell someone how to do something without holding their hands, and I think the game would benefit from people being more in the dark about quest type items.
And the guides on how to grind and kill certain kinds of mobs - while nice isn't this something that people should experiment with themselves? A game like this isn't about the fastest, best way of doing something, it's about getting together, or going it alone, and discovering what the developers put in the game to be discovered.
I'm all for reporting bugged quests, skills, etc, and for figuring out the math behind the systems so you can say for sure what's working and what's not, and maybe help the devs find the actual problem (like so many did with the area-intimidate bug), instead of a bunch of "step-by-step" how to guides. That's not to say that no guides should be written, I just think when you have to write an entire guide on how to kill something that you're being a bit too explicit, and it will lead to the more cookie cutter mind-set that we've been seeing lately. Food for thought anyhow.

I agree, It is nice to have help when you need it. But to the same point a lot of the guides written by good people Have a spoiler warning,
The people that read the guides have to option to not read them, If they want to enjoy the game, The mind set will not change either way.
But you are right, It has become a much more inmature playerbase it seems. Alot of people I meet are very young now. Many in the range of 14-16.
The game aswell Has gotten Alot easier,
This is not a flame, Just my two cents.
