I killed about 12 of them on sat and a jedi guild mate killed over 20 in the past week and not one pearl droped. Best bet is to go to the Corsair (sp?) POI on lok. And pray to your god that you can get one of the fair crystals to tune over 79 (never seen a tune higher then this my self post-CU).

You can run Canyon Corsair missions on Lok and get good crystals to drop. I looted 12 clear and 10 color crystals in an 6-8 hr time period doing this.

I tried this for 2 hours and wound up with 6 wiring drops, 7 pairs of leather gloves & some other useless junk. I also hunt Krayts everyday, usually 5-10 lvl 84 canyon Krayts cause they still drop loot. In the last 30 or so I've gotten Mando frames, Delicate triggers, some nice tissues, decent scales & 3 "good" Pearls. So I would say go after Krayts, cause even if you don't get pearls you still get loot that you can sell or use. In addition to the Krayts I go to Dath and hunt nightsisters. They tend to drop power crystals every so often and the lvl 85 ones are much easier to kill then lvl 84 Krayts.

has tuning changed or does LS skills count for tuning?... Before I was MLS and usually got tunes like this 70/70 -4 -0.15 or so from a fair or good.

Now im LS 0400 and they usually tune out to something like 32 -1 -0.12

If i give you my acct. info will you tune my stockpiled crystals?

There is 2 of the CL 111's that spawn on the island near the Mining Outpost on Dant. Also I tend to find them near the Crystal Cave POI. Just drive around the northern part of Dant and watch for Purple Con. I hunted them for several hours this morning, kill about 8 total and got one Quality crystal which tuned to 19 -6.

For a CL 111 they tend to drop alot of garbage loot, such as CDEF pistols and DL-44's etc. You might be better off killing Krayts. /shrug

I have never seen the 111 jedis, there r the 2 guys swimming by the island outside the mo and i have never had them drop anything. The canyon corsair poi drops crystals fairly regularly (they r not always the best but they do drop) and I have been getting a bunch on npc bounty missions. The problem is since the cu I have not got a decent tune on either crystals or pearls, I have even tried buying premiums off of vendors. It seems to me an issue with tuning.

The best tune I've had recently out of about 20-30 tunes was 91 dmg -4 fc. Decent for the current situation, pathetic overall. I've spent millions buying pearls, and hours looting them. To not even get a single tune of over 100 dmg is a Joke. YOU HEAR THAT DEVS! A JOKE, PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!!!!

I get good clear crystals from the random NS on Dath. Usually takes me about 20-30 kills though.
