If I go master lightsabers to make a 4th gen saber, and then drop down to ls 0400 or possibly drop novice ls, can i still use my 4th gen saber I crafted while master saber?

you can make a 4th gen without training any saber

Really? Im looking in the template calculator and it says I need master sabers for a 2 handed 4th gen, 2 handed 4 for a 3rd gen, and so on... Is the template calculator wrong?

As long as you stay level 54 you will be able to use the 4th generation Light saber.

It sounds like the template calculator you're using is Pre-cu.

Yes. it is probly an outdated older template calculator. you can both craft and use a generation 4 lightsaber at novice lightsaber/ or maybe just padawan and no lightsaber. lol, dangit i forgot. lol.But i do know you dont need any lightsaber boxes trained or specially master trained to weild a gen. 4 saber.

I assume that getting all the xp points from mls and the tech trees would improve a gen 4 saber dramatically?

master lightsaber, will allow you to craft a slightly better saber, yes.

Im talking about the tech trees too...Crafting a saber with mls versus one with saber 0400?

Yes, You can Go MLS, Build Your Saber, and Drop it. although, I'd consider it a waste of xp, personally.

Your better off grinding up xxx4 sabers and crafting a saber using a +25 crafting suit then spending the extra time grinding out master sabers
