group size or skill doesn't matter, you just have to be grouped. I can group with my storage droid only and I max out XP.

Group with your droid and go pull missions...you wont get anywhere near the same level that a good group would be...as for xp I really dont know for sure, I just know that it does affect the difficulty level of the missions you can pull.

I also noticed that as I go up in level my xp on some creatures went up, stayed the same on others, and went down for others...maybe that could be it?

did they nerf the jedi xp or something?

I think it has to do with your own overall difficulty. The higher level combatant you are the harder creatures you will be required to hunt to get 1100 XP per kill. When you are low level you can get 1k XP for killing mid-level creatures. When you rise in ranks, you will need to hunt higher level creatures. Since you grinded som fencing skills, you have attained a higher "ranking". Even though it was not jedi skills you aquired, you have overall become more "difficult" for creatures to damage you. Hence, you will get lower XP.

I don't know exactly how they calculate your "difficulty" or "combat rating", but what you describe is very normal. Also for other professions. So no, it's not a bug. You just have to start hunting some creatures that are a bit higher level. Then you should be getting 1k+ per kill again.

Hope that helped out.

I get 1200 xp for rancors, and various other lizards on Dath grouped only with my MSE Droid, not sure how much better I can get than that.

Hmm, this sounds like what happened. I started jedi as almost TKM, and didn't hit over 1k for anything until I had dropped almost all my tk skills and sunk more than 150 skill points into jedi.

It depends on the size/makeup of the solo group also....if your able to draw over level 99 missions your doing well, level 200 and you have a really good group...
