Thread: A new respec for jedi?

As I'm reading through the various nerfs to our beloved profession, I'm wondering why I would have to use my token respec to change my current template. I'd really like to keep it for when I want a change, not for when I'm forced to change my template.
After grinding out those millions of xp I really don't feel like going through that painful process again. In my honest opinion, us jedi should get a respec (only 1) and the developers should make a big post/patch with all the changes ahead for jedi and after those changes (tuned with our input)don't change anything anymore to us, except perhaps ADD abilities and not nerf them further.
BHs improved duelist stance now adds +250 defense. I simply can't believe this. We get +500 defense at nearly master defender and it uses force. Most of our skills now draw from 3 bars and how do the BHs pay for using all those things (I guess with the 1 week grind they did to get master?)? Why not just remove our force bar, that would be far better. Or even better, only use the force bar for ALL our skills.
I've been very useful in group hunts with my heals, I've managed to get my team out of hairy situations, but now, well, I'll just be saving my mind for healing myself I guess.
No ranged knockdown anymore, really fun uh. Nobody complained, no reason to remove it.
Avoid incap nerfed beyond oblivion. It was only usable for a limited duration anyway. It was a great skill, fitting for a jedi. And now, now I don't think I'll use it again.
Sap nerfed, again, part of my template, what was wrong with that skill? Nothing.
My template, including master defender, could just win against a single BH using that heal speed up food and it was a very very long fight and only had about 300 force left. And my heals were really useful. I guess I'll just die now. A jedi, taking months to attain, dying to a single BH, can you believe it.... I really wonder why I've stuck with this game for such a long time and paid for my accounts.
Oh yes, the improved shield at enhancer, even though it gives +4000 armor it's only a really small benefit. Add it to the master defender +6000 armor and it's only an actual percentage difference of about 7% increased protection (check armorsmith forums if you don't believe that).
Even though we'll perhaps be able to do damage faster we'll just be rooted in place and then we can be tapped on from a distance, without a chance to retaliate or defend (as our mind will be drained from healing and avoid incap cannot be used to escape). All the skills we needed to survive in the hunt that is forced upon is are nerfed. It's a sad feeling inside.
On another note, it's summer now, why don't we, as jedi, go outside and enjoy the sun and not log into/pay for the game for a few months.

On the dualist stance it is on a short timer and the BH MUST stand still to activate it (I think the warmup is 2 seconds) so yes it adds 250 defense but it is still not even close to as useful

I have that annoying text come up every 5-10 minutes or so. How did you guys turn it off without respecing? heh.

Anyway.. please God! No more respecs.. There has allready been to many, and theres a reason they gave us the token.
Id say, wait for pub 19, try play it for a week or so. And if it really is bad, use the respec..
Unfortunately, I think respectokens are a new trend, and we will be getting more of them
