Thread: Make Avoid Incap what it should be
They should have something like that but give it a new name. Avoid Incap does exactly what the name says,if you're going to die soon use it and you'll avoid incap. No where in the description does it say you can avoid the entire groups incap.
But I do think a skill like you were describing would be cool.

I want tofeel like aJedi that has devoted his life to mastering jedi defense. This is how to do it:
Avoid Incap- The Jedi Master of Defensecan exerthis will to throw up a barrier of pure force energy that is impenetrableby any known attack. No damage can be done to the Master whilehe hasthis barrier activated. No agro is lost by activating this skill.
Thebalances - The master that is focused on total defense can notperform actions or interact with theenvironmentwithout breaking the barrier. Force cost is still high so this can't be used more than a couple times in a fight without seriously draining your force reserves.
Give me some reward for mastering a fricking discipline. Don't remove all usefulness from a skill. Make the game fun for crying out loud.
well give me a reward for being a master healer. Id like to see my profession get some dam loving for once.

Agreed. How about some innate defense with your skill boxes? Doctors and Combat Medics get armor bonuses, why don't jedi healers?
And does the Total Heal skill completely clean out all states including snares, roots, thyroid rupture, electrolyte drain, etc? Maybe it's time it did.
total heal does not get rid of roots and snares.. Wish it did but it doesnt.. Its sad that this profession is worse then a novice medic.. At least thats how i feel about it... I have been a master healer way before the CU and before it hit I really liked this profession.. But now its just rediculious how we got nerfed to hell.. But all well.. Maybe one day the devs will get off thier a$$ and fix it to make it viable and fun to play.. I refuse to change my profession just to be viable.. This is what i like to be as a jedi and I should be viable. Im not asking to be a tank or anything, just give me some skills worth a dam.

It really should be changed to Delay Incap because with the snareeffect that is really all it does in a pitched battle (PvP or PvE). Never really understood with the high force cost why it needed the extra snare effect.
Delay Incap --theabbreviation would be DI which phoenitcally sounds like what happens more often than not when this power is used.
I think the only change I'd see to M Def would be for AI to work for the full 30 seconds, as opposed to it not working for the last 10.
And for the record, M Def is difficult to play well, but easy for new jedi. We get a bad rap 'cause of them.

They get armor certifications and mitigations... not bonuses.
Semantics, man. I know that they don't get innate armor like we do. I just said 'bonus' because they are given the ability to wear armor without the penalty to movement and attack speed. So, in essence it is a bonus.
Gawd... people will nitpick over the smallest things....
