Thread: Saberdamage and ArmorBreak

Excluding Force Powers and 3000 Healer...narrowing it down, the only things that food/tactics cant compensate for seem to be saberdamageand armorbreak. Even the worst of templates can be used sucessfullyas long as they have a good lightsaber and armorbreak, but nothing can make up for the lack of it.


Now, if I could accept that 2h wielders look like baseball players with a second saber stuck up somewhere deep and dark, I could probably exchange my template, but I will probably continue to use 1h in hopes that bleed is fixed eventually.


But I can at least ask...am I right, or am I missing something vital that could help doing more damage?

Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

I use a 1hand but im also master saber, alot of mobs are AB resistant now so it cost to much force to kill anything these days.

Kd'in people you hit them for about 300-400 more when there kd


apart from that just armour break and damage of saber that helps really.

I'd also like to see a reason for people to take up double bladed line also. Perhaps it should go like this.



One Hand: Powerful bleed attack in the 300-400 tick range. There are plenty of counters to bleed, so balance should not be an issue. Give one handed users a special to stop mind regen.


2 Hand: Needless to say armor break stays as is. Same with power attack.


Double Bladed: Stun should actually stop action regen. Of course people will cry, but there are counters to these states. Give us back a version of dervish similar to Pre CU. Allow it to apply blind/stun/dizzy at once.



The actual effect of stopping either action or mind regen ,in my opinion, should not last more than 10 seconds.



Now we have all 3 lightsaber disciplines with useful tools if they just choose to dabble in one line.

Fun isn't it. Everything in the game is resistant or immune against armor break except jedi.

Well there is Force Armor which should be both a kinetic (kinetic energy?) and energy shield... shield like a PSG. Doh nevermind just started to use reason here and just lost my mind. Anyone seen my mind? Been doing my healing and I lost it. Here mind, where'd you get of to? I'd go look for it, but I lost my action too. Wish I could use magic like the Docs and CMs and not draw so much upon the Force.

Well I do remember Han having a one piece suit made out of carbonite but it weighed a ton. Still it didnt require any ironing and was very wear resistant.

I would be fine with this. Would add yet another fotm in 0004 Healerbut maybe a push for recoveries in MLSisappropiate.


The Bleed...It need to ignore armor... But question... with a Lightsaber... Shouldnt it be Fire?
