Thread: Tuning?
I don't want to spread rumors, but I have noticed 2 things about the 150-160 crystals I've tuned. I've looted about a third of those, the other 100 or so I bought.
1. Since the beginning, all four crystals/pearls in my saberhave beentunes of crystals that I looted myself. The best I have gotten a crystal to tune that I have bought is +69, -8. I have 10 crystals better than that damage-wise. all looted myself.
2. If I tune mid-battle, I get much, MUCH better results. I've been killing Corsairs and Tuskens, getting poor and fair quality crystals. Since I'm Master Defender, I will tank several at a time and spin. When I see the "completely looted blah blah" system message, I'll open up inventory, and tune immediately if it's a clear crystal. I've been doing this for 1 week, and all 4 crystals in my saber were tuned in the last week. My saber went from 553 max damage to 605. I had all 60-74 damage crystals since I unlocked Jedi in January.In the last week of instantly tuning my loots, I've gottena +102, +84, +81, and +74, 3 off of fairs, one from a poor.
Again, this is probably random, but I'm going to keep doing it. Mainly out of boredom (no need to let those crystals sit there while I spin if I can use them immediately to do more damage), but also because I find it odd that these two things have helped me so much in a very short period of time.
