no fix the jedi professions that need fixing first before even thinking about this.. Master healers are not currently viable in this game right now and have seen nothing but nerfs since CU... Fix this profession before even bringing a thought on the FRS back

then go SP and pvp.. Almost the same thing... As I stated earlier fix the broken jedi profession first and seeing how sucky the last FRS was, I hope they really take thier time and plan this one out.. The old system was stupid

I guess I just feel like some of the fixes to the Jedi disciplines are obvious and take little work.. sure, a few hours of testing to make sure numbers are correct.. but I can see a number of clear visions for directions that each tree should go in to balance it out. I think I speak for many of us (and in doing so voice our frustration) when I say that some very good solutions are out there, it's just a matter of testing them out and implementing them.

To me, a quality FRS (and the role of Jedi in the GCW)is a large undertaking. To me, the balancing of the Jedi skill trees is not such a big undertaking. I suppose I see the FRS project as a high priority for Jedi because it will take a lot of effort and it has the potential to solve many problems regarding Jedi vs. non-Jedi (specifically, the separation of such PvP).If it did create such solutions, this would apply to the entire PvP-loving community.I see thebalancing issues as a lower priority because I think their implementation is relatively easy, especially given some of the wonderful ideas that have come from some of the people who post on the Jedi boards.

I see two possibilities:

We're crying for fixes to our weaker skill trees, but not much has yet been done.

Here's a real-life example of what's going on with Jedi in my mind:

You're a student and you get assigned some homework. Among your list of things to do you have a Physics project that involves creating a catapult the size of a football stadium. You also have one Calculus problem to solve.

The Physics project has you really bummed out, so you decide to do the one Calculus problem first. You work at it for 6 hours and you can't seem to get anywhere.

This is what I feel like SOE is doing:

Although your Physics professor gave you lots of ideas on where to start and how to proceed, you're toodepressed aboutthe project'sseeming impossibility. You keep going on the Calculus problem. You spent all your free time pouring your effort into coming up with solutions, but nothing seems to go right. You consult your friends, but they're just as stumped as you are. You would ask for help from a professor, but by the time you consider it you're already leaving on vacation for Russia.Twelve days later, the end of your vacation arrives, and soon sowill the 2 week deadline for the Physics project. You haven't gotten too far on the Calculus project, and you have nothing to show for your Physics project.

( Here'show I would proceed after the 6 hours of Calculus on the first night:

You know you're not going to get anywhere on the Calculus without some solid help, so you seek out your professor. Unfortunately, you can't get ahold of him because he's going on vacation to Belgium. You let out a brief sigh, then buy all the lumber in your local area. You haul it over to your Physics professor and he gives you some great ideas on where to get started. You hire some burly guys who have nothing better to do and get to work on that catapult. Two weeks later, you launch the football stadium itself at the moon and blow it up. You're famous and everybody loves you, except the creepy people who love the moon. Your next class is Calculus.. but you're in luck - your Calculus professor is back and you get some help from him just before class begins. He points out a large number of minor mistakes that you wish you would have seen, and you realize that the Calculus problem wasn't even worth the 6 hours you spent the first day. )

OR

SOE could be doing a great job on both of these issues and just taking their time.
