Thread: Why pearl drops are working as inteded (theory)

as many of the new and old jedi have noticed premiums and flawless have not dropped since the combat crapgrade
but in reality all loot including pearls is working as inteded , ill get to this in a second
im sure many of you remember the jedi masters from the dath imp prison, before they got nerfed they were dropping premiums, they were the only mob in the game at the time dropping premiums, now i think that premiums and flawless are connected to the CL of the npc the old jedi masters were 290 i think , so for premium pearls to drop again there would need to be CL 290 krayts , now this is where the inbalance comes in, the only ppl able to kill these npc were master defender (solo before the nerf)
because they had AI since any CL npc would dish insane amounts of dmg (30k dmg per hit ) now if there were cl 290 krayts i bet those would drop premiums again , but since there are no more cl 280 or higher npc they dont drop anymore, my guess is the devs have done this to prevent every jedi from going master defender and farm the krayts , since it just takes 2 mdefenders to take a current jedi master or a few ranged proffs

This has been known along time, Pearl/crystal quality is tied to the Skill level of the mob, The devs know this and have achknowledged the problem. Same thing with SEA's
