Honestly I thought that was why they gave them to entertainers(guinea pigs). There is always hope..

Rather than seeing the devs working on concept documents how not to make a Jedi with two sabers not double as powerful as one with only one saber, I would like to see them concentrating on fixing the game.
Dual-wielding dancers are not as complex to balance combat-wise than two lightsabers are

Simple fix..cant dual wield a saber over gen 2.
I'm so clever.
Doesnt address the problem with cooldown timers, for example - should they be cut in half allowing more attacks in a KD cycle for example, or half the average time needed to inflict a state, or should they stay the same, at which point Gen 2 sabers would be sub-par? This is by far not as easy as it might seem.
If dual-wielding sabers should be balanced, they will just be a different form of animation without any combat bonusses or penalties, and I prefer the developers spending time fixing bugs instead of generating new eye candy.

Ok then...when you dual wield you get new animations, and it LOOKS like youve got 2, but in actuality you only have 1 saber in your inventory, and the master box just enables the animations. Then all your timers/damage/crappy saber/everything is unchanged...it just looks different.

easier way lil more complex to Program would be.................to have a statless Saber in which you use to duel weild..........when equiping it. it changes the stats to exactly the same as the original saber which youll have to hold..... and then you get an automatic buff that Halfs your damage output.
for example: 1 saber with 600 damage 1.2 base speed 13 Fc 98 sac soon when duel weilding would turn into 2 sabers exact stats, now to stop over powered attack's the mod would be installed to half your damage.

(the idea is to have this look nice and pretty but still be as effective as one saber that way it wouldnt matter if youve got 2 or 1)
also anyone that wishs to argue this point will have to argue the fact that a polearm saber (or DB saber) doesnt deal twice the amount of damage with 2 blades.

At which point it really is only eye candy, and bugfixing is more important.
