Thread: Obi-Wan Trials
This may help.
Your progression on the path to Obi-Wan's Trials is based on your completion of specific ToW missions, that do not vary player to player. The list below is complete, and one or two may not even be required, but I always did them while doing others in the same area so I am unsure. Keep in mind that these do not need to be done in any specific order, and it in fact works best if you accept them all as you come across the quest giver. I do not always include exact waypoints if I feel you should be able to find it easily on your own, and because I wrote this while waiting for Skar to spawn on my new toon and did not have coordinates for everyting in here. I will not at this time be including Obi-Wan's quests, due to the not-so-extensive testing they have recieved so far and the continued need for difficulty testing in that area. Watch out, that first one is a dooooosy.

The Serpent Shard - Ikt
Ikt is located in the Mensix Mining Facility's Cantina. Once you accept the quest head to the small island to the west of the Central Volcano at around -1680 160. Around that area (May take some searching...) you will find an Altar that has an Inspect option on it. This will spawn an NPC whom you will talk to, then fight. (84 Elite Jedi, Armor Break Root, Snare Immune) After you win (No losers here) you will then be able ot Use the shard on the Altar. Return to Ikt for reward.
The Cursed Shard Part I and II - Menth Paul
Menth Paul is located in the Mensix Mining Facilty's Cantina. After accepting this quest just explore Mustafar for awhile, and you will start having some bad luck. There are two options once the two stints of bad luck take place (You can run if you want, you big baby) One is to head towards the bridge to the Central Volcano (from The Burning Plains) and you will decide to throw it into the lava. The other choice is to head back to the Cantina and trick the big guy by the bar to buy it off of you. Reward is same either way.
Symbiosis - Bag...seriously....
This quest starts on the landmass directly to the South East of the Mensix Mining Facility. Once on the landmass head to the South East of the Old Mining Facility and keep an eye on your overhead map and radar for white dots and boxes. Inspect the bag laying between the two corpses to start the quest, then inspect the two bodies, fight off the attacks, use the bag again then run to the waypoint created. To finish quest you must locate the other body that is up the hill to the south, and Inspect it as well. Oh, and fight off the attack....
A Collector's Business - Q4-P3
Q4-P3 is located in what can best be described as a lab in the Mensix Mining Facility. (Use /target Q4 if you are lost) After accepting the mission you will have a waypoint to the island that you went to for The Serpent Shard quest above, that leads you to two Piles of Rubble. Inspect both, survive the attack, return to the droid for your reward.
Being a Good Samaritan - Pwwoz Pwwa
Pwwoz Pwwa is located in, you guessed it, the Mensix Mining Facility. Use /target Pwwoz to locate him. Proceed to his camp, then dilly dally around till a horde of Lava Fleas and Striders show up to have you for lunch. Kill them till you get an update about the crystal shard, then return to Pwwoz. You then have an option of giving him his crystal, or keeping it for yourself. Reward is same both ways. Oh, and you get attacked again....
A History Lesson Part I and II - Epo Qetora
Epo Qetor is located in the "lab with the droid in the Mensix Mining Facility. The first portion of his missions have you traveling to the Republic Facility in the North East corner of the map. As with most dungeons there is alot of unlocking doors and turning on power, so I am not writing a guide for that at his time. Once you have the doors unlocked and the power on and have fixed the computer, use the Log Terminal to go to the next step of this quest. After you have killed some of the ancient droids and have recieved your encryption key, run back to the Log Terminal and apply the encyption key. Return to Epo to start Part II. Part II has you looking for tablet pieces in the area south of the Republic Facility. (4 brown circles on Planetary Map at correct location) Once you get to the area you will need to find the following : NPC named Skar, a Scavenger, Remains, and Pile of Rocks. Skar is a level 84 Boss Jedi NPC. Scavengers are level 78 non-elites. Remains and Pile of Rocks do not fight back. Once you have all four tablet pieces return to Epo for your reward. WARNING: At the present time the Carbine reward for Part II is a duplicate reward from Unlockign the Secrets!
A Hidden Treasure? - Buried Tablet
The Buried Tablet is located at 2869 1413, just by the area where Skar spawns. Go up to it and Inspect it. Go to the waypoint created. Unlock vault, choose a lever (same reward both levers), get attacked, completed.
Fragments of the Past Part I, II, and III - Old Box
The Old Box is located on the Island to the west of the Central Volcano. (One with Serpent Shard and Collector's Business) The box is located inside one of the cylndrical hutt's in the Blackguard area on a pallet with some Large Boxes. Inspect it to start the quest. Move towards the Gazebo, and do /target Crystal to locate the splinters after you get a warning about your splinters buzzing. Drive through the Treasure Hunter spawn area until you get another warning, then kill Xos. (92 Boss Jedi, Armor Break, Root, Snare Immune. He's a push over I swear....) Proceed to Tulrus Isle (Long island to the east of the central Volcano) and head up the middle valley until your splinters buzz again, then kill Magma Horn. Then proceed to the area south of the Republic Facility, heading south until your splinters buzz, then kill the Phantom Bandit's until you recieve the splinters. Proceed north to the Republic Facility until your splinters buzz ( BZZZZZZ) then do /target Crystal and retrieve your last set of splinters. To fuse the splinters together go into the Republic Facility and start unlocking doors until you reach a Photon Fusion Welder. Put your "crystal" inside, wait 10 seconds, remove. Mission complete.
A Moral Choice - Mensix Mining Executive
The Mensix Minign Executive is located in the conference room with 3 white dots on your overhead map at the Mensix Mining Facility. Head out the the Striking Miners Camp waypoint provided. There are two ways to complete this quest, the reward being either a fat Mustafarian Hologram, or a skinny Mustafarian Hologram. For the fat one do as the Executive asked, for the skinny one talk to the Strike Leader when you get to the camp and do as he asks.
After an indeterminate amount of time Obi-Wan should now spawn near you and you should be able to converse with him. (I found the best way is to die then go sit by the frog so everyone tries talking to him when he spawns.) If you get impatient then you can go to the Holocron located on the Shores of Remorse to try and spawn him manually. Enjoy your quest and hats off to SWG_Swede for the great set of quests!
